Nice Sports Bar.
We generally hang out next door at Rookies where the drinks are stronger, the venue less exciting and the regulars closer in age (forties).
On the nights when we want a bit more excitement we go next door to Whiskey's where we always have a good time.
Cheers-styled neighborhood sports bar with dart boards and pool tables. Warm, friendly staff and patrons. Nice sound system with internet juke box. Decent drink specials. Aesthetically pleasing interior.
Get there early though if you are planning to visit. Good luck trying to find a parking spot on Friday or Saturday nights after 10:00 PM.

Nice place to be kinda like the CHEERS of San Antonio. Been going to Whiskeys for a while people are great and you can drink in a safe environment very rarely ever any trouble and if there is any it is handled quickly I have been a regular there for about 7 years now and have been really satisfied with the service and the hospitality that is shown there the negative review that I saw posted was probally someone who was under age or got barred for starting trouble as for me I love it there

Great place to have a drink!. Great place to hang out and have a drink. My friends and I love to go afterwork and enjoy the long island ice teas. The service is good, the owner and the staff are great. The juke box has good music, the place has plenty of room to sit. Overall it's just a great place to hang out.

Jeff & Denise love Whiskey's Bar.
My girlfriend (Denise) and I love hanging out at Whiskey's. The staff is fantastic especially Judy and Jessica. It's a great place to go when you have worked all day and want a place to relax and meet new people. You can't beat the prices of their drinks too. My girlfriend and I hate nite clubs and prefer the bar
scene where the people are real. We both recommend Whiskey's on Callaghan Rd. and hope to see you there sometime. Happy Partying!

Avoid this hole in the wall with a fat bouncer, who thinks he's the sh*t!!!. The drinks are okay, but there's a fat short guy with glasses at the door who thinks he's the sh*t by turning people away from this hole in the wall. I'd understand if Whiskey's was some hot spot club like the ones in LA or New York but anyway. yeah I told lots of people I know about this fat dude. Im pretty sure he's turned people away before, he's just hurting their business because I have never gone back there, nor has anyone I know.

Cheap Long Islands!. Great place to go and play some pool and relax with 6 dollar mug sized long islands.
