Dr. Ibarguen diagnosed my daughter with Celiac Disease. He was awesome during that time, which was 8 years ago. We went back to see him about 4 years ago and he acted like we put him out by going to him. I don't know what happened but we WILL never go back. He's a total jerk!!!!!!

BEWARE... BOTH DOCTORS IBARGUEN AND ELIZONDO ARE TOTAL QUACKS. IBARGUEN SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ALLOWED TO TREAT ANIMALS WITH HIS NEGATIVE ATTITUDE AND ELIZONDO IS A TOTAL JERK. I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO TREAT CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE THE MENTALITY TO EVEN BE AROUND CHILDREN. TRY TAKING YOUR CHILDREN TO RONALD MCDONALD INSTEAD OF THESE 2. YOU WOULD PROBABLY HAVE BETTER TREATMENT.

Great Doctor. Doctor Ibarguen is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist who has been caring for my sons condition for the last 5 months. Before seeing Dr. Ibarguen, we had seen several other specialists in the same field, which had done nothing but exploit our insurance running complicated and painful test and procedures on my son. Dr. Ibarguen completely disagreed with the other doctors and treated my son with a special diet which changed my son?s life. Between Dr. Ibarguen, his PA and their dietician, and of course my son?s regular pediatrician my son?s health has dramatically changed for the better. We haven?t been to the emergency room since seeing Dr. Ibarguen.

Terrible. He completely misdiagnosed my entire medical condition. I had a certain disease when he said I was "faking it," which seems odd considering the fact I've been living with this condition for years now. I take 9 pills a day for it, do regular tests and operations to make sure I'm ok. Thank God I left this person for a much more competent and caring doctor. I honestly feel that this doctor is only it for the money and could care less about his patients. However, this is just one man's opinion, but a strong opinion based on having to interact with the man. And let's be honest, when you could die thanks to a misdiagnosis by a doctor, you're going to feel a little less than willing to recommend him.

Greatest Gastroenterology Doctor. My daugter was born at 25 weeks and weighed 1lb 12 ozs, we suffered a long 5 months in NICU before we were able to take her home. She came home with acid reflux, failure to thrive and a terrible feeding aversion. She had the fundo and g-tube fed constantly by feeding pump. We were under another group of GI doctors that I felt weren't quite understanding our daughter's (Lauren) problems, tmyfirst visit to Dr. Ibarguen lifted alot of stress and worries , he explained things to me in parent language and was genuinely concerned. So many doctors do not really listen to the parent , but the parents are the ones up with the child all the time. Lauren has made so much progress since that visit over 2 1/2 yrs ago, although she still does not eat by mouth and is still tube fed she is not in any pain. Thanks to Dr. Ibarguen and his entire staff who has always been just a phone call away. Rhonda Reeder Banuelos

Knowledgeable and compassionate. My son and I came to Dr. Elizondo through word of mouth after being treated by another ped. gastro in town that we were not satisfied with. Dr. Elizondo was very empathetic to our situation and began to assess my son's symptoms throughly. Several outpatient test were ordered and Dr. Elizondo was very clear in explaining the results and reassuring to our family. We felt like he listened to our concerns and took them into consideration. My son was 14 when we began to see Dr. Elizondo and immediately felt a trust with him. I would highly recommend Ben Elizondo for his medical expertise, kindness and compassion.

I highly recommend this doctor.. Dr. Elizondo took care of my son during his acid reflux period/failure to thrive. My baby was less than a year old, and couldn't hold down ANYTHING. We had originally been referred to a doctor who did nothing for us, except offering names of different formulas to try. When we asked to be changed, we got Dr Elizondo. He ran tests, and figured out immediately what was wrong with our son. It took awhile to find the right cure, but he was so determined to make Kaelen comfortable, and get him to a healthy weight. We owe him so much gratitude for taking the pain away from our baby, and giving us a tremendous amount of sleep at night. I would never take Kaelen anywhere else if I have a say in it.
