Where's the convenience? Where's the quality control? Do I need to check my order before I leave?. Well, bless their little order-online-to-save-time hearts. It's a great idea if you want to pay for stuff you don't get and don't realize it until you've driven all the way home and you were already tired & hungry. But, what are you supposed to do by then? Use more gas to get back over there than the $2.50 they just screwed you out of? Go back to get your chips & fruit while your sandwich cools & hardens at home? Let everyone else eat while you go for a "joy ride" and come back to scarf your cold hard food down when everyone else is visiting? I've picked up food to go 3 times. All 3 times I picked up food to go, there was something missing from the order. Just a couple of little things here & there but a whole day's worth of "here & there" can add up to a hefty bonus, huh? They say they want to "conserve, so check the box if you don't need napkins, forks, etc..." I check the box. I get 4 flatware sets, a slab of napkins, but not my Coke or salsa. Also, my Caeser salad was a bowl of 2 week old very garlic-ey "bread" croutons with a few leaves of Romaine sprinkled on top. It was not quite worth the $4-5.00. I haven't eaten my dessert yet. I'll just give them the benefit of the doubt on that. If it's as bad as the salad, sadly, Subway's closer.
National franchise restaurant offers generously portioned deli fare accented with fresh fruit and plenty of salads for dine-in or takeout..
In Short
Colorful yet understated describes the wall decor at this chain restaurant. Patrons order upon entering and then find a table or booth. With soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and tempting desserts, this deli has something for everyone. Calorie watchers should try the spinach veggie wrap with spinach, sprouts, fresh mushrooms, homemade pico de gallo, guacamole, Asiago cheese, served with a side of fresh fruit, steamed vegetables or potato chips.
Don't eat here. After a long day of work we were out to try something new. My husband and I went into the Jason's Deli closest to our new apartment. A nice young girl greeted us and took our order. She was nice enough although her boss was horrible. After we had paid, he came after us to let us know that we were under charged. Instead of letting it go this one time, he insisted we pay the difference before allowing us to eat. He made me lose my appetite. It wouldn't have been so much of a problem if his attitude wasn't so bad. He was mean and unwelcoming. We don't ever plan on going back. He was just awful! We just got refunded for what we did pay, and left. He seemed happier with us leaving than with gaining us as potential repeat customers we could have been. Don't eat here unless you want to be treated poorly.
