Wheres Julie.....I called to make an appointment this week and was shocked to hear she no longer worked there. If your looking for Julie, I found her, she is now at Turesdell on Huebner...right across the street.

Stacey was awesome. I had Stacey take me from super blonde to a nice cool brown. I was worried it would turn green from the big change...but she was very educated with color and showed me how she would do everything and why she had to do it that way. It turned out great! She is a fun and chatty person. Made for a great experience and will be going back to her for color and will try a cut next time. I highly recommend this salon and stacey!

Very Dissappointing. Very poor service. I had an appointment for nails and came for appointment. Learned the nail tech had quit some time before. Salon did not bother to inform me. i was about to leave on vacation. Big problem. No apology.

Stacey Fyfe is Awesome. I've known Stacey for a while since going to sls. Shes so understanding on what I'm looking for I usually tell her to surprise me and she comes up with the most unique styles, I constantly get compliments on my hair and I love how she can go from one extreme to another. Not only is she great at coloring she's a great listener. I can do without Michelle and her snobbish ways thats all I would change about that place.

Remarkable work by jennifer. I was real impressed by jennifer's work.she was very helpful in correcting my old brassy hilights with fresh beautiful highlights. She was very friendly. I loved everything you did for my hair .Thanks Jennifer

Attention all Blondes. I've had my highlights done at salon's coast to coast and am a former model. If you want sunny, baby-blond hair with no brassiness or roots showing...then Candy should be your stylist. She also does a great Brazilian Blow-out.

Julie Julie Julie!!!. Julie is truly the best hairstylist I've ever been to. She takes her time to listen to what you want and then uses her experience and knowledge to give you a great haircut every time. She always goes out of her way to satisfy you and make you feel beautiful. Besides being great at her job, she is genuinely sweet and likable. If you want someone to exceed your expectations, go see Julie!

Great first impression. I have gone to Toni & Guy for the past 6 years when I had a hair emergency and they fixed it. Now I am doing highlights again, and of course returned to them. I was looking for something different but had to know what they are doing. I had heard of this place and called up for prices(I know good work cost good money but not crazy money) they seemed fine and they asked me to come in for a consult the SAME DAY. OMG I could never get that at the other place. So I met with Courtney and as soon as I sat down with her I new by the end I had found my new wonder. I was even able to get an appointment for 2 days later. I can't wait everything we talked about mad me so happy and I was so comfortable with her. I didn't really pay any attention to the atmosphere but I will on Friday. There was only one person there that walked around like miss perfect, but I am not there for her.

Gavin Rocks!!!!. I've been to several hair salons in San Antonio, mainly different Aveda salons. I've just had "ok" experiences. The problem with "ok" is when you?re paying a lot to have your hair done; you want to walk out of a salon feeling fresh and beautiful. That is not too much to ask for. My husband started going to SLS and used Gavin. He thought he did an incredible job. He's recommended me going to Gavin for a while now. I've never had a male do highlights or haircutting before and what does my husband really know about hair anyway? So I never took his recommendation. BIG MISTAKE. I finally got fed up with the high price of "ok" haircuts and highlights that I decided to give Gavin a chance. He is so attentive to his craft. He began by taking five minutes to just look at my hair to figure out the layering and texture so that he could assess what would be the best approach. I also showed him pictures of what I like and don't like. He confidently knew exactly what to do with my hair. There were moments I felt like he was Mr. Miyagi and I was his bonsai tree. His highlights were brilliant and his haircut was amazing. All I can say is I walked out feeling hip, fresh, and beautiful. Some people say SLS is on the expensive side. It was less expensive than any Aveda salon I had been to in San Antonio and how can anyone put a price on perfection?
