What a disappointment.
I went there today with my family and the waitstaff looked unhappy to be there and wasn't very attentive. Not that I want them to fawn over us but at least have basic customer service skills. Our appetizer came out with our food which took forever to came out. Our appetizer was the only hot food. Everything else was lukewarm and the my fries were completely cold. It was a huge disappointment since we are cutting down our dining out to twice a month. I feel like I totally threw my money away on cr*p. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would.

Great Home Cookin!!!.
I was very impressed with this place. My husband and I took our 2 children there for lunch recently and the food was awesome. I had the meatloaf which was excellent. It had like a tomato/salsa-like relish on the top...SOOO GOOD! They had a great kids menu and their regular menu had several different kinds of food to offer. Our waitress was super nice and courteous. If you like good home cookin' with an upbeat flare try mama's cafe.

Family-friendly restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in cozy, nostalgic surroundings reminiscent of gas stations of the 1930s..
In Short
A Menu of American, Hill Country and Tex-Mex cuisine features Eggs Benedict Mexicana with chili con queso, sandwiches from grilled turkey to the garden veggie burger. Dinners include the grilled chicken breast smothered in mushrooms, onion and provolone cheese. Beverages are exotic, including the Almond Joy (smoked blend of Blue Bell Ice Cream, amaretto, Kahlua, toasted almonds) and the Golden Mama Margarita (Golden Tequila, Grand Marnier, sweet and sour mix, splash of orange juice).
