Great, down to earth service!.
I felt the need to write a review for this place because you don't often get such great down to earth service like this. I stopped in there this past weekend during their tax-free day and although they were extremely busy, I was greeted with a smile and asked what I needed help with.
I came in to buy two pairs of scrubs and left with three and a pair of shoes! They were very helpful in giving me suggestions on what I was looking for and the entire time, I felt as if I were going to a friends house and trying on clothes. The girl who was helping me was very conversational and told me her honest opinion. I greatly value businesses that don't just try to sell you something, but tell you what they think is best for you even if it's less expensive! Imagine that in this economy!
I read the previous review and can't disagree more. I found this place to be very clean and organized, the staff to be friendly, and their prices to be on par or less than other scrub places (especially if you go on tax free day).
I'll be returning for another bout of clothes and shoes because I love the way they do business! I highly recommend it.
Worst Customer Service / Business.
I have a STRONG need to write this review. This is the worst store I have ever shopped in. Every time I have shopped here the service has been horrible and I will not shop here again. Ater purchasing a scrub top, it turned my skin BLUE! I changed into another top I just bought there and returned the first one. They did not want to return it! My arms, fingers and torso was blue! While I was standing there waiting for their manager to come out, I reached in my new top I had just put on and found a huge hole in the pocket. I tried to return it also but the girl told me since I had it on, I had worn it, and it couldn't be exchanged. I explained to her I just put it on because the other one was defective but she still wouldn't return it. She told me to sew it.
Recently, I was about to buy $500 worth of scrubs from them online. I went to the store to see if I could purchase some of them there and noticed there was about a $4.00 or more difference between the prices online and in store. The cheaper price was online but at the store, they wouldn't even honor their own price!!!!! Who does this?? Then the manager argued with me that it's a good deal online and that it is fair to up the prices in the store. This manager/owner is really out of touch with how business works and customer service. Meanwhile, while I was there, I needed to pick up my name tag that I needed for the next week. They lost it! After 20 mins of them looking for the nametag I ordered, and they got in and called me to pick up, they finally said to order a new one or get a refund.
This place is soo ridiculous.
I ended up still ordering uniforms from them at the store because I needed them for my job. I am a professional and must wear scrubs. I ordered them on the 22nd. Today, the 10th, I call them to find out where my order is. The owner tells me they all came in. I got no phone call or anything. He told me they came in on the 27th. I asked why did I not get a phone call and this was his reply "it says on the invoice that there was a call on the 27th but your mailbox was full. your stuff is ready now so you can come pick it up".
I told him I never had a missed call, or any evidence that they called, or even a courtesy second call to let me know my much needed scrubs were ready and had been sitting there. He told me 'well, I dont think she would lie about calling. maybe your phone just didn't show we called. cell phones do that sometimes.". Instead of just an apology because they dropped the ball, he tried to make it my fault that she couldn't leave a message. All he kept saying though is "well, it's here now so come and get it".
I hate shopping here and will never recommend this store to anyone. They are overpriced and their prices online and instore vary by at least $4.00. The manager/owner needs to take a business class and learn the basics of running a business. He is very combative, argumentative, and acts like he doesn't need your business. They are very unorganized and their return policy is harsh. It's too bad for them that they lost my business. On average, I spend about $500 or more a year on new uniforms and shoes. I will purchase my items from somewhere else rather than deal with their nonsense.
Shop somewhere else where you aren't scammed and you are appreciated. This business will not be around for long with their bad service, and selling items with holes and tears and not taking them back. Worst scrub store in San Antonio.
