Great salon and very friendly...recently my hair started receding, I was at a loss on how to have it cut or how to fix it and I almost shaved it all off...but thanks to several of the talented ladies (I have recieved haircuts from 7 out of the 11 stylists) and honestly I am happier with my new haircut than I have been in years...PS beautiful women are a nice plus...just sayin'

DO NOT go to this salon, i had gone there to get a full color done and it wasnt the color i wanted. i called back and spoke to the manager and was told they were not going to re do it and then i was hung up on.Save yourself the aggravation ladies and go somewhere where they value their customers, especially when your paying $120

Great Color. I was able to get in for an appointment very quickly. Jennifer cut and colored my hair and gave me exactly what I asked for. The receptionist was welcoming and kind and offered me a beverage while I waited. I will be back. In fact, I'm scheduling today for someone to give me a new style/cut!

All I asked for was ten minutes of their time.... I recently went to another salon and had my hair colored, needless to say it turned out horrible, I called this salon based on the reviews and asked if I could come in to speak with someone and find out if my hair could be fixed and if so what needed to be done. The receptionist told me the next available appointment was Tuesday and asked if I wanted to book it, I replied well I would like to see if my hair can even be fixed first and get an opinion on what needs to be done - this would take someone maybe ten minutes of their time - I was told no, they are booked solid and if I wanted to talk to someone I would have to make an appointment, I explained the situation to her again and let her know that I would like to make an appointment but would like to know what for before scheduling - once again I was told sorry you cant speak with anyone with out an appointment - because of that this salon lost a potential customer, apparently ten minutes was too much to ask.

Not Quite the Aveda Experience I Was Looking For.... This salon does not really have an “Aveda” atmosphere, which you will understand if you’ve been to other Aveda salons. They do not seem to do the relaxing little rituals that many Aveda salons do, such as hand massages and steaming peppermint towels during conditioning. The general lighting and music are not really calming. On the plus side, I was offered a drink when I got there. My stylist, Brooke, was very friendly and did a nice job on my hair color (which is a big plus). However, I have to say that my cut and style were hastily done, leaving me with the impression that detail was not very important. My eyebrows were waxed out in the open in the shampoo area, and after leaving I realized that they were not done correctly, and I had to stop at the Randolph AFB salon and have them touched up. The bill was pretty expensive ($171 before tip, for shoulder length hair). I don’t think that I would return to Blonds Brunettes & Redheads. I have had more satisfactory service for less cost at other Aveda salons (some offer a military discount or at least a discount on the cut when you are also doing a color job). In the end, I guess cost would not have been such a factor if the overall ambience and experience had been more like what I expected, but I was disappointed. And it's never good if you have to stop at another salon on the way home from the first salon... :(

Fantastic Salon. Your missing out. GREAT SALON! Oh I haven't been this happy with my hair in SO long! I went in just yesterday actually have been going there for a few months but went in and my stylist Brooke fit me into her schedule as I needed in last minute for an event...We've been working on growing my hair out for the last few months and it's finally where I want it. I brought in a picture a few months ago of long beautiful hair with some red and blonde color in it as a goal...and Brooke loved it and discussed how it would look on me and how i would need to go about keeping up with the color...well a few months later and i have the exact picture! My hairs gorgeous my husband LOVES it. I've honestly never been happier. My color looks exactly as it does on the picture. The cut was growing out from a shorter do, and its now past my shoulders and getting to where I want it. She's so wonderful about taking care of my hair and changing things up for me! Shes my little Magician! Beautiful cuts and colors! YOU MUST! As for the salon...Its amazing. The atmosphere isnt like those other salons where you feel out of place and around people with their noses in the air. The receptionist are so sweet and go out of their way for their clients. I get extra hand massages and head massages. Absolutely amazing. Everyone there is sweet sweet sweet! I cant rave enough! Thank you to Blondes Brunettes and Redheads for their outstanding service. I prebook everytime I leave!

B, B and R is for me.... Brandi is fabulous. Had been looking for someone for years and via many salons to find someone who could get the blond highlights and low lights the way I like them. She nailed it. She gives a great cut too, one that lasts weeks and weeks. She makes herself very available, so getting an appointment isn't difficult. Today I was able to call today and get in today...I love that...thanks Brandi.

Nancy is the BEST!. If you are looking for a "this will do" cut, go anywhere; but if you want Hollywood perfection, go tho Blondes Brunettes & Redheads and ask for Nancy.

She is easily the best in San Antonio Metro, probably the best in the State of Texas, and as far as me and my wife are concerned, she's the best in the world. If there is someone better, we'll never know, because we would not let anyone else touch our hair.

Nancy is not only professional and creative, she sweet to boot! You won't find a better stylist in San Antonio.

Best Cut Thus Far, & My Hair Smells Great :). I hadn't had my hair cut in over a year, I just couldn't afford it, and definitley didn't want to settle on great clips, no offense...its just I have a terrible expierience every time I go there. Anyway I finally had the time, and the money to go get my hair done just a matter of where to go. Well who knew that after all these years of living in Live Oak was this lovely salon? Not me! I finally decided to check it out after reading all the wonderful reviews. I called for an appt, was set up with Ali, went in and everyone was so friendly :) I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but Ali knew what to do. I love my results. And I look forward to coming back!
