Repeated Customer. I have had to use Angel of Mercy on several occasions and would not know what I would have done if they did not exist. I love Dr. Ridder and her staff always treats my pets as if they were their own. Yes, they do charge me more than my regular vet does but that cost is nothing in comparison to the love and care that they provide.

Compassionate Care. I came to Angel of Mercy on a holiday weekend and was very satisified with the service I had received. Not only was the staff friendly (despite having to work on a holiday) but their prices were very reasonable and Dr. Ridder was honest and down-to-earth. My cat was diagnosed with terminal cancer and without Dr. Ridder, I wouldn't have been able to spend as much quality time with her at home before having to make the hardest decision of my life to put her to sleep. All in all, I spent about $600 for a full diagnostic work-up and outpatient treatment, which is very good considering the specialty vet quoted me over twice that amount! I hope to never go through that again but I am comforted by the fact that there are actually people out there that care more about client and patient care rather than money.

Will definitely refer people here!. My cat became extremely ill one night after my vet had already closed. I really didn't like the thought of having to go some place where I was not familiar with the staff, but had no other choice. My vet recommended Angel of Mercy on the answering machine at their office. So I called and told them I was on my way.

The staff were very quick to get me checked in and I was speaking with the doctor before I knew it. The doctor made sure to give me several options for treatment, but in the end I chose to put her down to end her suffering. They made me feel very comfortable and at peace with my decision. Overall I feel that they were compassionate and understanding, which is exactly what I needed since this was one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make!

The worst Vet service. Ignores state and Federal Laws!. Our 9 week old puppy started having seizures cobined with a blank stare. No blinking or curiousity that a puppy usually shows. My wife brought the dog to Angel of Mercy and after initial exam they first stated the dog was seizing at this time and needs an IV with Vallium($150). That was denied so instead they placed the dog in an O2 cage(didn't offer or state cost but charged us for it). Vet presented list of diagnostic tests that need to be performed combined with the outrageous price tag. He stated that if we opted to put the puppy down, it is a "candidate for rabies testing". My wife stated she would bring the puppy home and hope all is well.

Our poor puppy expired that night. Upon contacting Angel of Mercy in the morning concerning the rabies testing they stated they are an overnight clinic only and are closing so we need to contact our normal vet. 15 different vet clinics and two different Animal Control Services offices were contacted trying to obtain a way of getting this test done and no luck. We received a call back from the vet at Angel of Mercy saying he was contacted and that we can put the corpse on ice and bring it in after 6pm and pay the testing fee($75).

That to me was unacceptable! I went to the local Animal Control Office and talked with Asst Director. He stated that vet saying chance of rabies should of had the dog put down and immediate processing for testing for the virus. Any other action taken to include allowing us to leave with the animal is against state laws.

ACS is conducting the test to provide me the needed information to save my family but they requested all the information we received from this clinic.

AMAZING, CARING, ATTENTIVE SERVICE. I took my dog to Angel of Mercy last night because I had suspected that she had eaten rat poison and she was hemorrhaging heavily . They were short staffed but I was seen in no time at all. The tech Steven, Dr. Dale Wingfield, and the receptionist were all impeccable and caring people! After the proper blood tests were run and the vet came out to show me the results that he had printed out, he could have easily scared me (being that I have no veterinary training) into shelling out money for a blood transfusion with the platelet counts that I saw. Instead, he was assuring that although they were low they were not transfusion low. He was very thorough in explaining all the results and the care that I needed to perform for her. I am so grateful for the honest and caring staff!!! They turned a very scared woman into a relieved one and now my dog will live!
