The Message
From the road, Tested by Fire Pottery looks like an ordinary house with painted wood trim. Inside is a showcase of beautifully handcrafted pottery in an array of colors and styles.
Owner Rob created the business in 1975 and dedicates his work to God by signing each piece "Praise God, Rob."
The Wares
Dish patterns are the best reason to stop by this shop. Spice up your table with the "Mediterranean Sunrise" pattern, a sunset of tangy yellow-orange and rich burgundy over a blue-green sea. Light up a room with pottery lamps in the "Oasis Fountain" design, a sanctuary of blues surrounded by a desert-sand hue. "Amethyst Dream" features a splash of blues swirled with lavender. Other pieces available include crosses, vases and luminaries.
