SALON IS MAKING A COMBACK. NEW STYLIST HAS ARRIVED. I WENT TO REGIS THE OTHER DAY AS A WALKIN AND I GOT A NEW STYLIST NAMED BENJAMIN. HE TOLD ME HE USED TO WORK AT VISIBLE CHANGES AS A COLORIST AND HE WANTED TO CUT HAIR ALSO CAUSE U CANT DO BOTH THERE SO HE CAME TO REGIS, HE GAVE ME THE BEST HAIRCUT EVER, HE HAS GREAT TECHNIQUE AND GOOD CONVERSATION. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HE EVEN TALKED ME INTO COLOR AND I DO LOVE IT. I WILL BE GOING BACK SOON
HORRIBLE Customer Service...Service in general. I am new to the San Antonio area and needed my roots touched up badly. I decided I would go to Regis being that it was close by and I had previously gone to other locations and had great experiences. The visit started out fine, the stylist was nice and seemed to know what she was doing. She applied the color, rinsed and at that time the manager asked if she could "steal my stylist for a minute," I of course said yes. Well over 30 minutes later and after much screaming and crying (I could see them in the mirrors) my stylist returned. She apologized as did the manager (kind of)....I was obviously irritated but the manager didn't seem to care. I told the stylist I wanted a discount and after some debate, I got one. End of that story. Now 3 weeks later, my roots have completed faded, so I returned to the store. I was extremely nice but my stylist said that there was nothing she could do about it but redo them and charge me the $65 again. I have never had to do my hair every 3 weeks....usually about 8 weeks! I will NEVER return to this store. I have never had such horrible service. It is a shame that they treat customers, people who pay their salaries so crappy. Not to mention that I even tipped her over the 20% on the first visit even though I got crappy service!

I would strongly have to disagree with the other review. I go every 2 months to have "Nikki" highlight and cut my hair, each time I love it more and more. It took me 7 years to find the perfect stylist. Nikki can do any and everything and will make sure you leave with a smile. So, if you go to Regis ask for Nikki, you will not be sorry!

Worst haircut I've ever had... Ever.. I went to Regis Salon in La Cantera shopping center. I'm was in desperate need of a haircut, and it looked fairly nice at first glance. My stylist was Tonya, and I asked for a simple layered haircut that I've received many times before. Tonya took my entire head of hair into a pony-tail, pulled it to the top of my head, and cut it straight across. She continued to take chunks of my hair and cut them carelessly as she talked to the idle stylist at the next station. My wash, cut, and blow-dry was finished in 20 minutes. I've never been one to be obsessed with hair, but this was by far the worst hair cut I've ever had. I told George, the manager, that I wanted my money back ($45), and he told me my only option was to have the stylist fix it. I'd already lost about 5 inches to Tonya, so I opted to get it fixed at Hair Studio at Sonterra on 1604. That haircut cost me $55 and 3 more inches of hair, but it looked fabulous when I came out (I saw Shellie). Please avoid Regis Salon at all costs. My hair looked terrible, and the management and staff was unaccomodating.
