Raw Dough-We will NEVER go back!. My husband and I have eaten there several times, after seeing the unsanitary conditions on the news we stopped. But last night we decided to try it again because we really liked the stromboli. We ordered it to pick up, after we got home and started eating we realized the dough on the bottom was completely raw. I called and let them know. They were very responsive and said they would deliver a new one. When the delivery driver got there he said the manager wants me to take the old stromboli's back to look at, which is fine. Then we tried our new ones to find the same exact thing....RAW DOUGH. This was the last time we will ever eat there. Do not recommend to anyone.

Slow service, terrible service, rude employees. My wife and I came with high expectations at the invitation of friends who said this was their favorite pizzaria. There is no clearly identified place to order pizza, so we stood next to the cash register while four employees milled behind the counter not making eye contact, one of whom was busy with her cell phone. Two young guys came in and immediately got served. When their business was transacted we moved to the exact spot the young guys were standing in, thinking it must be the magic place. Again, four milling employees making no eye contact. As I was about to say, "Where do we go to order pizza?" a middle-aged couple came in and were immediately asked if they could be helped. Now I'm a little steamed. The woman behind the counter working the cell phone sighed loudly and approached us and asked to take our order. Finally, we ordered our pizza and were served our drinks. Our pizza was delivered in 20 minutes and we sat down to enjoy a nice evening. After about 30 minutes one of the staff began visiting our table every five minutes asking if we had any plates he could clear away. After the third such visit we had nothing left but the plate with our remaining pizza on it. But that didn't stop him; he continued to come every five minutes asking if he could take something away. There were only three other tables occupied -- over a dozen were empty, but this was so obviously an effort to get us to clear out. I had just got a refill of my soda, so I wasn't eager to leave. But since we were getting the bum's rush, I asked if I could get a "to go" cup for my beverage. Mr. Every Five Minutes said it was against their policy. So we left, and we will NOT be back. There are just too many pizza restaurants in Bexar County to have to pay good money to one that poorly staffed and that ignorant of customer service. Oh, and the "rating" for this restaurant is not accurate. eight "5s", one "4" and four "1s" gives an average of 3, not 4.

Very Rude Manager & Slow Service!. Very Rude Manager, Bad Service, Long Wait!!!!! Go instead to Trilogy Pizza & Wine Bistro on Stone Oak, VJ's Pizza & Subs on Bulverde Rd. or Johnny's Pizza & Blimpie Subs on Judson Rd., all managers are very thoughtful & professional!

I called Pizza Italia days ahead to let them know that I was bringing in a large party of 30 people. We spent altogether a total of approx. $500.00, yet the manager would not except my coupon that was the equivalent of $5.00, even though I had brought in such a large group. He was extremely rude and did not care one bit how much business I had brought in to his restaurant. It took over an hour and a half to get some of our orders even though I had called ahead of time. We did not expect to get our pizzas at the same time, only as we ordered them.

He did not apologized for the long wait or even thank us for coming in. He just lost 30 customers and others that have been told not to go there. The pizza is ok but not out of this world. They have a big selection of beers, we couldn’t help but wonder if they were taking so long to get us to buy more. Skip Pizza Italia, unless you like long waits and a rude manager.

We Miss you. My family & I are anxiously awaiting the Grand reopening of the best Italian Restaurant around. We have been faithful customers for to many years to remember & were very sad about the tragedy. I will miss the old place but will welcome the new location.
