Beware - new owners no longer owned by Mr. Murphy. They charge flat rates on a $4-$20 contactor the flat rate is $178 plus $89 diagnostic and $10 fuel fee. OVER PRICED! HORRIBLE employers. I waited all weekend to see if my previous employer Murphy Heating and Air (which is a sister company to Bexar Air - Same owners) would do the right thing and no one from the company has contacted me. I was in my "probationary period",which I was told by the owners Jerry Barragan and Harry Franzreb, meant that if things did not work out at any time I could simply say it was not working and walk away, or they could ask me not to return. I exercised my right to walk away last Tuesday and was waiting on my last direct deposit check to drop on Friday- BIG surprise it didn't drop and now they will not speak to me. I even went with a SAPD officer and the owners cars were there but by some miracle they were not! This is after I was finally told I could pick it up at 3pm. The bookkeeper who hands out the checks could not give me any answers. This was not a shock, see I personally witnessed Harry and Jerry pull this with the previous employee who I replaced. They are thieves! They told me things in the interview to hire me and backed out of promises. They are not truthful with customers and do not do what is right. After I was hired I found out that Murphy has gone through multiple licenses under Murphy because they are not current on inspections... so they use Bexar Air as a front. Shady Shady Shady....and I left because they do not take care of their customers and are not ethical.

A Hidden Gem among Contractors. Extremely thorough. These guys really know what they're doing. Have been enjoying their service for over 25 years.
