I travel all the time and want to go to
the best hotels and resorts I can afford. The valet parking and bell captain were very professional. Room was a bit old feeling but had a flat screen TV.
The air conditioning was old and tired so we were hot and didn't sleep like usual. Towels in the room are something like Motel 6 would have, nice and rough. We're talking $300 per night for the crappiest towels Ive seen in years. Phone in room was 20-30 years old. Nice shampoo and conditioner. The cheapest toilet paper in the world as well! Now for the lazy river. Way better towels than in the room!! I wanted to take them to my room to avoid the scratchy crap in my bathroom. Two of the circulating pumps in the river are not working. I spoke with a employee who said they were not working for quite a long time!
Water fall feature not working. Dirty water with lots of leaves. Pricey drinks were terrible and from two different bars. The bartender on the river was hard to talk to and not friendly at all, no greeting or smile at all and then charges $10 for the worst daquiri Ive ever had. Then there's a $22 resort fee which includes free wifi and a bunch of other crap to do outside in the middle of the summerr in Texas? Why is such a crowded place like this going so down hill? There is no excuse for not having the pumps and waterfall working. No excuse for the bad drinks and terrible air conditioning! I'll never go back to this place. Yikes!
Great hotel BUT... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!
A real treat. First class all the way.. Great place for the family. Staff is excellent and the rooms are outstanding. The restaurant is top notch. For the kids... the lazy river and the marshmellow roasting can't be beat.
Rolling hills and a ranch atmosphere just a short drive from the city..
The Scene
Texas Hill Country provides the gorgeous setting for this 200-acre resort. While the property is a vacation destination unto itself, it also makes a luxurious base for sightseeing. It resides within 20 minutes of downtown and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and is right across TX 151 from SeaWorld San Antonio.
The Details
The 500-room property is styled like an elegant Texas ranch house. Guest rooms and public areas are decorated with regional touches that range from denim drapes to cowboy art. An array of opportunities to unwind includes traditional pursuits, such as golf and spa treatments, as well as such singular activities as inner tube rides along the "river" that spans the property. While the needs of adults are thoroughly catered to, families are made to feel right at home. Camp Hyatt offers supervised activities for its young guests.
classy.
We recently had out of town guests stay at this resort and they loved it. The golf course was difficult but spectacular and you get good rates for play after 2pm.
The spa is the best around and our friends said the service rivaled anything they have ever recieved in Scottsdale or Palm Springs
WOW!. This has to be one of the greatest experiences available in San Antonio. If you are looking for a great hotel, great golf course, and great spa all in a relaxing setting look no further. I recently stayed at this Hyatt with a group of friends and we had a blast. We will be back.
