Fantastic as always. Rudy's is the best BBQ. Ever. Especially the original location. Though you might be tempted to only order the delicious brisket and sausage, but don't pass up the turkey. It's should not be missed. Also, a tip-- If you're ordering for takeout, there is a separate place to pick up in the back so you don't have to wait in the normal line. Check it out!…
Best BBQ Ever!!!1.
I was in town for business and a Riverwalk information ranger told us about Rudy's. It was easy to find, but a few miles from the RIverwalk.
By far, everything we had was the best I have had in my 55 years of travel. The brisket was moist and tender. The chopped mixture was wonderful. Just remember that the chopped is a mixture of chicken, beef and pork.
The peach cobbler and creamed corn was better than home cooked. The meat is ordered by the pound not by a plate. They even give samples as you are ordering
Now, I want to go to San Antonio just to get Rudy's BBQ.…
Better than Bill Miller's.. Our first night in San Antonio we wanted something to eat, but we didn't want to go far from our campground. While driving into San Antonio my mom had noticed Rudy's. We decided on going there for dinner. Man, what an experience. Very friendly service and just an all around nice feel. The food was good, the prices were good, and the service was good. Rudy's is much better than Bill Miller's. Highly Recommended.…
the best.
I lived in SA for two years and was a Rudy's regular. When in town I would eat there a few times a week. I now use their rub on almost everything I cook! I can not understand places like County Line
and most of all Bill Miller's getting better ratings. In two years living in San Antonio, I met ZERO people that like Bill Miller.
I also met ZERO that didn't like Rudy's. The staff is very friendly and they hand out samples while you wait for your food. Damn I miss Rudy's!…
Worst BBQ in San Antonio. Rudy's BBQ is the most awesome eatery in San Antonio. Slabs of beef brisket, ribs, pork....even chicken, with loaves of bread and the wickedest BBQ sauce on the planet.
