CLOSED. Reggiano's closed in February 2009. Bad food and poor management doomed this place. I am surprised it didn't happen much sooner.

Bad management and staff. Its a shame the management and staff ruined this eloquent and fun restaurant. We enjoyed this establishment several times until my wife was sexually assaulted by the general manager as she exited the restroom. To say the least, we did not step foot in this place due to the atrocious behavior. Perhaps we will see a resurrection by a professional management group.

Fantastic service and atmosphere. The food is superb and the waiters are very knowledgeable. The service truly is great.

They have a happy hour until 7pm I believe, a few dollars off each drink.

The patio is lovely.

What happened to this place?. Haven't been to this place in years. What happened to it? This was the place to have a great time? Last time I was in we tried the bar on a Saturday night, and the servcie was slow and they were dead. I asked the bartender about the where the owner was, and he said they made some changes. I guess there was not enough room for the three of them. The food was ok, apparently they have had a lot of turn over. Wow what a dissapointment. Now that I am back in San Antonio, it looks like I need to find a new spot!

Best food and customer service in San Antonio. We like to eat at Reggiano's just for a night out or for a special occasion. The minute you walk in the door you are greeted by fabulous hostesses, attentive waitstaff, and knowledegable waiters/waitresses. The food is the most awesome cuisine you will enjoy mostly because of the finest, worldly, Chef John and his staff of culinary artists. Steve and Andrea are awesome waiter/waitress. Steve is only there on the weekends though, so we try to plan to go when he is there. He has a great sense of humor and a warm personality. Chef John never ceases to amaze us. We usually just order the specials, because they are so spectacular. I don't normally like seafood, and yet I almost always eat fish there. Chef John has an extraordinary talent for his profession. Make sure to pack up some of your entree, because you most definitely want to try dessert. It is a great way to finish off the meal...a cup of coffee and a sweet treat! Can't wait to see what the fall/winter menu has to offer. I am sure it will be out of this world.

great food and service. this place has really come a long way. the waitstaff knows what they are selling to guest and treat you like you should be treated. Chef John has done a fantastic job coming up with dishes you would see in a magizine. the presentation is mind blowing as well as the atomoshere. i highly reccommend reggianos to anyone willing to have a great night!

Owner's are horrible. The title says it all.

They treat their staff horrible and it show's in service, vibe of the place and the way they treat customers. I can't believe they've been open this long.

Houston's loss is San Antonio's gain.... We visited Reggiano's while in town for the Wurstfest last November because our favorite NW Houston chef (John) moved to Reggiano's. Our loss is San Antonio's gain because his recipes are marvelous and on par with many famous chefs of Italy (particularly the Tuscano area) and the U.S. He fixed my favorite Mezzaluna, a half moon-shaped ravioli stuffed with boar sausage & served with a very light pesto sauce, a must-try for anyone. His bistecas (steaks) are to die for, and his crab cakes (when they have plenty of fresh crab) are the best we've ever had ANYWHERE -- and we're seasoned world travelers. The restaurant itself is very delightful in its decor reminding us of a couple places we dined while in the Tuscan and Umbrian countrysides, and service was exceptional, even tho we were there when the restaurant was closed except for a private party. We love the idea of a separate pizza bar with a wood-burning oven so you get your pizza al forno, just like in Italy! Wine selections are also excellent yet unpretentious. Even the restrooms remind you of Tuscany. We've recommended this place for local friends who travel to San Antonio, and we will definitely be stopping here every time we're in the area, maybe even make a special day trip just to have lunch.

Beautiful restaurant but do not order the "special". Ambiance is super but I made a mistake ordering the "special". I paid $28 dollars for a hallibut entre that was fishy smelling and not very good. My friend ordered something off the regular menu and she was happy. Great place to bring a date! Leave the kids at home.

Great Food and ambiance!. I went on a date there and it was the best food I have ever had in San Antonio!!

The waitstaff was nice and helpful. The chef came to our table to make sure that we had a good meal and it was just the perfect touch to our evening. The seafood pasta was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!

Anyone visiting should visit this inviting and delicious restaurant!!
