Nicest in San Antonio!. Love the food, ambiance, and wine list of this class act restaurant. The chef does an INCREDIBLE job with the menu and the staff is extremely attentive. A great patio when the weather allows. The ambiance is one that most would enjoy. The food is the best in town!!
Average. The scallops were great, the chicken marsala and veal piccata were very dry. Waiter did not ask if we wanted something else.
panini. The sandwhich was not toasted, or like Italian panini. The manager said they didn't have the equipment to toast the sandwhiches. So it was soggy and cold. Expensive for what you get.
Reggianos - Good food and bad service.. If you are ready to meet uncourteus, unpolite and extra slow servers, in order to have some decent food, this might be the place for you. Big portions await for those that can survive the bad service and S L O W (really, extra slow!) bad service the restaurant "offers". In general, go somewhere else.
Airy and upscale Northside Italian dining..
The Scene
Reggiano's modern, elegant decor and waitstaff dressed in black may make guests suspect they've left Texas--unless they opt for alfresco dining on the spacious rock patio, where Loop 1604 will bring them back to reality. Inside, an open kitchen is visible from the bar and some dining room tables but isn't too distracting.
The Food
Don't expect to pronounce selections properly unless you're familiar with Italian cuisine. Fortunately, the unpretentious waitstaff gives impressive mouthwatering descriptions of the restaurant's Tuscan and Mediterranean dishes. The current menu includes an array of seafood, veal, pork and lamb, with emphasis deservedly placed on the lamb. The dessert menu targets various cravings, but the chocolate tartlet is both generous and rich enough to warrant sharing.
Perfect food and service. Great reastaurant with perfect food and service. A bit expensive, but it is worth it.
Now that's ITALIAN!. The perfect Northern Italian flavor and atmosphere you crave. Every selection is made to your perfection, with true waiters/waitresses that truly care for their customers. Be ready to wait, but you will be coming back for more.
Feels like i'm in Florence. The ambiance is perfect. The food is fabulous. Everything is wonderful. AND it remids me of when I was in Florence...charm and elegance at it's best. The only con...prices are a bit high for college students. But, you get what you pay for!
A Yuppy place. Reggiano's Pacifico is one of the city's newest choices for those with discriminating tastes and thick pocketbooks. It seems that the people that eat here are the younger folks, yes, yuppies. It also seems that the generation prior to baby boomers are really in left field. I would not recommend the place if you are retired and pay with cash. Yes, the food is very good. A little on the expensive side.
Nice hangout. The people that frequent this place are a bit pretentious. The food is first-class. The service could use some improvement. The owner hangs around there and acts like he is God. He needs some people skills.
