Referral Person review/office. @happymommy21......I have been taking my 3 children to this practice for years and I have not had a problem with this office. The Doctors are great and so is the staff. My children have needed referrals and"Kathy" was GREAT. You don't even know her correct name. I can tell you have a very RUDE and UGLY ATTITUDE through your post. I would recommend this office to EVERYONE. As a mother I wouldn't care if I set up my specialist appointment or the office did it as long as my child got the treatment she deserves. It's needy people like you who give a Great company a bad name. I love this office.

Referral person name Kathy or Katherine (?) is rude. The loction is nice but SOME of the office staff is rude!! The referral person is an idiot w/no heart! I don't understand how hard will it be to get back @ me...instead I scheduled my own appt. to the specialist & called Stone Oak Pediatric to fax all clinic notes, labs, and demographics to the specialist that Katherine was suppose to schedule me. How hard is your job!!!! If you can't handle it than "QUIT"! All you need to do is ask that specialist if they take our insurance & give other info on the phone. HOW HARD IS THAT! Because of her bad personality I would never goooo back there! She needs to get retrained or fired!!!!!! It's amazing how one bad experience can ruin it for the rest!

Not the greatest service!. I use to take my kids to Cooks children and now they go to Stone Oak paediatrics. There is a stark contrast between the two in terms of service, being organized and cleanliness. Cooks is far better!. They were also friendlier.

Cooks would call to let me know a month or so in advance when my kids needed to come in for their shots and/ or wellness checkups and then two days before leading up to the appt. date.

The only reason I still take my kids there is beacuse I trust the doctor whom I feel is knoweldgable and friendly.

Pediatrician. I read about the fees earlier and have never experienced this. Dr. Bourland is wonderful, caring, and extremely knowledgeable in the field of pediatrics. Dr. Bourland is also efficient and accurate with diagnosing children. I highly recommend this office.

Fees. I am very unhappy with service I recieved from this office. I like the Dr. but what is with charging for every little thing. I left the Dr. without the note for the school. When I called to ask them to fax it to the school they said "Sure we can do that but we charge $5 for that." I said," what if i pick it up. " They said "It is still a charge" . I had just paid a $30 copay for service and they are going to get good amount fromt the insurance. Why on earth would they need to charge people for forgetting a Dr. note? I had just left there 30 min. before this call and was willing to drive back to get it. Very unhappy with this last visit.

Great Doctors. Stone Oak pediatrics is one of the best practices I have been engaged with. We have been going there for 5 years starting with my daughter and continuing on with the son. Now, a third is coming and we are going to use them again.

Dr. Gunsberg and Dr. Trexler are fantastic with the kids. And I just received a courtesy call from their office informing me that my son needs his 3 yr. shots. Fantastic service even for a practice that continues to grow with the area.

Great pediatricans. I had been looking for a good Dr. in SA for my kids for a while. A friend recommended Stone Oak Pediatrics and we have been going for over a year. Drs are very caring, nurses are very patient with my kids, offices very clean, and the wait is not too long. Call ahead though as not all drs there accept all insurances. We usually see Dr. Trexler.
