Awesome Anniversary. Recently visited the Vineyards Restaurant for my wife and I's 1 year wedding anniversary . We sat in what they like to call their "patio" which had an elegant view of their Vineyards . We were then greeted by our Server Chad Who helped us feel at home explaining to us about the restaurants history, weddings that were held there, and their very own wine. For Dinner we went ahead and went with there " 5 Course Meal" which also had a nice wine pairing with it. Ever course was spot on from the Parmesan Crusted Shrimp all the way to the 45 Day Aged Filet. I was very impressed when Chef Clayton came to our table and asked how everything was , explained to my wife and i how each course was prepared. I really wish more restaurants would do that. For dessert they had a table set outside in the acutal VIneyards with a creme brule paired with my fav. "20 yr Tawny Port" . All in all it was the best meal I've had in a long time. My wife and I will beback every anniversary!!! Thanks Vineyards Crew!!! :)

DELICIOUS!!!. "Where should we go tonight?"

"I don't know. You decide."

"You decide."

My wife and I always have this predicament. We never know exactly what we want or where to go. A few months ago, we decided to venture out and try something new. After reviewing multiple websites and tons of reviews, we came across the Vineyards Restaurant. Best occasion, best steak, best seafood appetizer....what is this place? Located by the natural bridge caverns, I knew that it would make for a fun and interesting drive. We made reservations for the evening and got dressed. On our way to the restaurant we called to make sure we were going the right way and Jason was glad to help. Upon arrival, the stunning view of the restaurant and the refreshing sounds of nature had us thinking we

made the right choice. We walked in, we were promptly greeted and guided into the patio dining area where the view was literally breath-taking. Steven introduced himself and told us about the Ahi tuna special that wasn't on the menu. My wife gave me that look like, "I'm getting that!" I read through the menu and saw the filet, that's what I'm getting! We started out with the crab-stuffed mushrooms and believe me, those alone were worth the drive! She got her chardonnay and I got my cab, of course. After devouring the mushrooms, we both got a caesar salad with a dressing unlike any other I've ever had. The entree's came out with perfect timing and steaming hot. Tender vegetables, succulent steak, (cooked to a perfect medium,) rich and creamy mashed potatoes, and that was just my plate!! My wife's plate was phenomenal as well! Pan seared, sesame crusted, ahi tuna with that sauce, that cilantro cream sauce, wow....the jasmine rice and the seaweed salad added that extra pizzaz. So of course, we shared our plates, got 2 new glasses of wine and watched the sun set on, what was to be, one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had. To top it all off, two words, creme brulee. Enough said. Coupled by a professional and courteous waitstaff, this place truly struct a cord with us. We now visit the Vineyards Restaurant at least twice a month, if not for the crab-stuffed mushrooms, the pan seared ahi tuna, or the so-tender-you-don't-need-a-knife filet, then just for the view. Since we have been there, we never have that problem of where to go or what to eat, the answer is the Vineyards and it's the right answer every time. THANKS BILL!!

A Night To Remember!. Me and my wife have been out to the vineyards for two weddings now, but it wasn't until I took my wife out there for out 5 year until we realized how special this place was. The service and atmosphor was just outstanding. We arrived for dinner around seven and left just after midnight. We were not rushed for taking our time as we were walking the vineyards with our wine. The night was awesome and we will be back for years to come.

Great Atmosphere and Food!. We loved the atmosphere and food. We were seated in the downstairs wine cellar, which I think might have been the best room. Our server suggested that we walk around the vineyards with a glass of wine...which was very romantic. We will be back for the atmosphere and the Filet of Beef Tenderlion! yummy!!!!

BEST & Most Romantic place in S.A.. I can't believe I've lived in San Antonio 10 years and had not been to this restaurant - it's phenomenal! It reminds me of a wine country restaurant in Napa Valley but without the pretentiousness. Our waiter, Jason, was so sweet and recommended the Filet for me and the Chilean Sea Bass for my husband, and OMG squared! We bought a really nice bottle of wine and out entire bill was around $100 bucks. I've already posted on my Facebook account b/c it's soooo good. We already have a reservation for next month! :)

Best Romantic Dining. This place is always having beautiful weddings and banquets, because it is the perfect place for it. On top of that, they are a restaurant with delicious food and wine! Their sea bass that is on special is amazing! All of their appetizers are great too including the poblano corn chowder...YUM! The servers are always so friendly and recommend exactly what I crave!

Romantic Restaurant. I just had my wedding there on 17th May 2011. I found this place through various wedding sights. It took me weeks to pick a venue and decided on The Vineyards, due to high reviews and great pictures. Since I am a three hour drive from San Antonio I was not able to physically visit the venue.

When I arrived at the restaurant it was not quite what I expected but we had not got every thing set up yet. After we put up all the decorations and they set up the tables It was perfect ! Very Romantic, cozy, intimate and especially beautiful at night. I had a wedding of only 20 so it was perfect. I believe the can accommodate party's up to about 150.

The best thing about this venue was the customer service. Lindsey was the woman who set up everything through the phone, and made it easy as possible. At the restaurant Paula was the biggest help. She helped decorate and even made sure my future hubby didn't see me before the wedding. The food was just as good as the atmosphere. They worked with us and they where very professional. The wedding ran a little later than it should have and they where able to keep the wedding going along without being rude.

Thank You so much to every one at the Vineyard's who made my wedding one of the best days of my life!

Anniversary dinner,,. My husband and I had our 41st wedding anniversary dinner at the Vineyards. The ambiance was disappointing , mini Xmas lights hanging from the ceiling, expected a candle or a flower on the tables. The wait staff was attentive, but lacked expertise in wine selections. I had the steak and the garlic in the mashed potatoes was bitter. My husband has the sea bass and it was good. We ordered the German chocolate cake for dessert, the bottom of the cake was burnt. When we made the reservation, I mentioned it was our anniversary, expected at least a free dessert or a free glass of wine. Would we go back, probably not.

Pretty good..... Good, but not quite as good as advertised. Went during a special occassion. The waitstaff has been good (not top notch). It did seem as though we got a new girl the last time. The food was good, but not on par with other top restaurants. The ambiance was nice...and the heated pavilion / strawberries / wine they do on Valentines is fantastic. Would probably go back, but not ready to make it a regular dining pick.

Vineyards is Awesome for Dinner. Vineyards was awesome! From the wine selection to the pairing with the foods and a fantastic creme dessert, it was top notch! Not only did all the food come out excellent, but I left full, happy and content.
