Extremely romantic. Extremely great service.. My wife and I recently visited the Havana for a weekend getaway and it did not disappoint at all. The service was amazing, and the historic hotel was incredibly romantic. Its tucked into a secluded pocket of downtown, which was away from the busy downtown entertainment district but still easily reachable. Mary and Charlie were extremely attentive and friendly. We really loved starting each evening in the dowstairs Cohiba Bar which was quiet and very comfortable. Kat, the bartender, was great. All in all, it was an incredibly romantic weekend where we felt we had also escaped the usual tourista trappings.

A historic inn that radiates personalized charm in the heart of downtown.. The Scene
This inn was constructed nearly a century ago as a residential hotel. Today, it combines the personalized charm of a B&B with the convenience of a larger luxury property. Its historic mood invites travelers to take a luxurious step back in time. Many of the furnishings have been collected from around the globe, adding a unique touch to an already singular property.

The Details
The 27 guest rooms are as individual as the inn itself. Many feature beds draped with Indian gauze canopies, which creates a dreamlike atmosphere. All of the rooms are nonsmoking and are equipped with modern conveniences such as data ports. Dining venues range from a pleasant breakfast room to a romantic restaurant featuring Club Cohiba, a martini and cigar bar.

Atmosphere and More at Havana Riverwalk. We loved this hotel. Everything about it was great. The staff were just beyond great. The atmosphere is relaxed and charming. The location is perfect only 4 blocks from the center of the Riverwalk ... I highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best. Havan is one of the best hotels in San Antonio. It's got it's own unique, upscale accomodations with the cigar lounge downstairs and plump featherbeds awaiting your stay upstairs. It's centrally located to the riverwalk and all downtown venues. I would recommend this to a local or tourist for a great weekend getaway.
