29.425158 -98.495126Float down the Heart of Texas, Riverwalk. When family members and friends come to visit, the first place I take them is the Riverwalk. With all it's attractions and different restruants and entertainments, you can't go wrong. The City of San Antonio takes pride in their city and it shows.
SAN ANTONIO IS #1. EVEN IF BORN AND RAISED IN SAN ANTONIO TEXAS,THE SITE OF THE RIVERWALK NEVER SEEMS TO GET OLD. NOW BEING IN THE MILITARY IT'S SOMETHING I REALLY MISS.
Fantabulous. The San Antonio Riverwalk is the best for people-watching. You don't have to spend a dime, unless you choose to, and then the restaurants/coffee shops/ice cream joints are great! Enjoy!
I left a piece of my heart on the riverw. I have never seen anything like the Riverwalk in San Antonio. The saff was very friendly, polite and knowledgable. The view of the foliage during the boat ride was spectacular. The idea of riding through a beautiful city in a boat was certainly a new one that proved to be very pleasant. The choices of resturaunts along the River Walk seemed to be wonderful both in variety and quality. We ate at an outside table of a Mexican resturaunt next to the water. The food was better than any Mexican food I have ever tasted and the atomosphere was great! I would go back in a minute and reccomend it to anyone!
Riverwalk Romance. The Riverwalk is a great place for a romantic getaway. There are many nice hotels within walking distance. The Marriott is located on the Riverwalk with balconies overlooking the river and the city of San Antonio. It's a nice, comfortable and luxurious place to stay. There are also many nice restaurants and bars to choose from ranging from casual to upscale and everthing in between. At night it is lit up so nicely. You and your loved-one can enjoy a romantic dinner, go dancing or tour the Riverwalk by boat. It's also lots of fun just walking around, perusing the shops and seeing people at their best - having fun! I recommend it for families as well.
Riverwalk San Antonio. The San Antonio Riverwalk is the most incredible attraction for tourist as well as locals. No other town in the United States has a year-round attraction that you never tire of. The people in San Antonio are so friendly - unlike any other city I have ever lived in. No one EVER gets tired of going to the riverwalk - even when you live here. There is always something to do, see, eat, live entertainment and an abundence of every type of food you could possible want. Hands down, the San Antonio Riverwalk rates a 10+ with me.
Romantic promenade. The river of dreams! The resaurants, the people, the music, the fancy hotels, all give the feeling that you're really someplace. I only wish my lady had been with me.
Best evening stroll. Great place to stroll anytime but especially during the cooler evenings. Plenty of different restaurants to choose from and a great mall. River boat rides and a floating mexican restaurant, Casa Rio.
Walk the Walk. Relaxing stroll on riverwalk and beautiful historical sites to see and wonderful restaurants to choose from.
Relaxing & Romantic.... The Riverwalk is a "must do" experience for any visitor to San Antonio! In the Spring and Fall one can spend most of a day with their loved one just strolling along the serene walk and stopping for a bite to eat or a drink at any of the many fine establishments that abut the walk. One can even take a relaxing ride in a boat or be served a meal during a boat ride. This is San Antonio's crown jewel...
