worst sushi ever. on first entering the establishment we were warmly greeted, but that ended as soon as our server arrived. he was mediocre at best.we ordered soft noodle dish spider roll tiger roll and dragon roll. the noodles were delicious but when it came to their sushi they fell completely flat. the dragon and spider roll were edible even if completely lacking any real flavor but when it came to the tiger roll it was the slimiest most unattractive thing i have ever eaten. i do not reccomend the sushi at all. we told our server we did not like the tiger roll and he said he would speak to the manager. after being interrogated by the manager about why we didnt want to eat the slimy roll he finally took it off our bill. im not from san antonio i was only there for a a couple of days but i will never go back to that restaurant. huge lack of hospitality and below average food.
Burgers, fries and soybeans, oh my! America's favorites with a healthy twist..
Two of a Kind, Sort of
Rey Willy's and Rosario's. They share a brightly-colored, neon-lit sense of style, common owners and 1014 South Alamo, where Rosario's got started and Rey Willy's now sits. Neither is quite gourmet, but a far cry from average, and they each feature the staples of their respective cuisines--Mexican enchiladas and beans for the old and good ol' American burgers and fries for the new.
Natural Selections
But Rey Willy's isn't your typical burger joint. While the beef patties come with fixings from cheddar to chipotle mayonnaise, healthier options are readily available, such as a chicken burger or the veggie stack--featuring eggplant and more--one of the best options on the menu for herbivores and carnivores alike. Fries come crispy, jumbo-sized and taste great with the chipotle mayo. The healthy choice, once again, would be to go for the out of the ordinary edaname, or boiled soybean pods, but we can't be good all the time, can we?
