Great place to stay. Sue and Benny are really nice people. We went to Brackenridge B&B twice. Once in the winter of 2003 and then again in Dec 2004. We really enjoyed the place. Maybe it is the breakfast that is served upstairs in the formal dining room, or maybe it is the conveniant location. It is really close to the riverwalk and the alamo. The first time we were there, we met with two couples who have been regular customers of Sue and Benny. We were so surprised when after and year, when we went back to visit, we saw the same people!! I would recommend this place.

A historic setting in a convenient location.. The Scene
This B&B is owned by native Texans who were once stationed at San Antonio's Kelly Air Force base--expect some good old-fashioned Southern hospitality. It is tucked into the historic King William Historic District just a half a mile from The Alamo. Here guests can relax with a long bath in their own claw-foot tub (each room has a private bath) or take a lazy nap atop a quilt-covered bed.

The Details
Accommodations consist of five guest rooms and a separate carriage house. The rooms are done in a range of colors. White, of course, adorns the Bridal Suite. Children ages 12 and over are allowed at the main house, while families and their pets are welcome in the Carriage House. The latter offers loads of comfort and privacy, with two bedrooms, full kitchen facilities and a screened porch.
