Eclectic, flavor-filled environment offering a web of epicurean delights.. The Vibe
Cafe Anansi is the kind of place you might find meandering down a cobbled township street on a languid Caribbean island. The wrought-iron gate of the converted bungalow-style house welcomes you into a sun-dappled dining patio. Inside, mural-covered walls and mismatched furniture give the place its own island-like charm.

The Food
The diverse menu features a mix of European and Caribbean cuisine. Start with the Creole shrimp and eggplant fritters or a chilled avocado bisque. The entrée list includes a generous selection of seafood dishes, but patrons with a yen for red meat won't go hungry. For those with a more fowl-oriented mouth, the Jamaican jerk game hen provides a great substitute for the token chicken dish. There are at least a couple of pasta dishes, but surely you can be a little more adventurous during your island outing.
