Great atmosphere for New Year's celebration

Great food, great stay, good service, excellent location. Lots of fun for New Year's Eve with music, special menu, and access to the Riverwalk. Only downside with our stay was the large line waiting to check out despite express checkout. The (smug) concierge also gave us directions towards the freeway, but didn't take into account the roadworks on New Years Day. We stayed with our 2 young children. Childfriendly rooms and restaurants. (Balconies have a safety lock on the sliding door as well as the usual lock).
- Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable beds, child friendly
- Cons: Took a long time to check out
Beautiful

My husband and I stayed here for our 1st anniversary. The room was on the 9th floor overlooking the Riverwalk. The room and the view were wonderful. I loved the bed and the shower! We had the romance package which included chocolates and champagne upon arrival and breakfast in bed. The room was made ready in a hurry upon our arrival and there were a few small issues with the room being properly stock, but all were easily and politely taken care of. All of the employees that we dealt with were nice and professional. Overall we had a wonderful time!
- Pros: Location, Beds!!, Romance Package
- Cons: Parking
Fabulous!

After being bumped from an overbooking at La Mansion, the Westin was an absolute treat. This property is gorgeous, with one of the most wonderful suites I've found anywhere in the U.S. The staff is incredibly accommodating as well. This is truly a class act property!
- Pros: beautiful rooms, great service
- Cons: far end of Riverwalk
