Worst experience I have ever had!!!
by kristenkost
LOCATION AT OLMOS PARK!!! I have never been this grossed out while trying to eat a nice lunch on a Sunday afternoon. My husband and I took my 8 month pregnant twin sister and her husband to lunch before they had to head back to Austin. We were all enjoying ourselves until my sister almost threw up all over the table. She could barely speak the words as she was holding her mouth to try and avoid spewing the small amount of food she unfortunately had already ingested. As we all hovered over to check what was on her plate, we were all so shocked to witness a completely drenched BEE that seemed like it has been swimming in the dressing for a couple of hours before it ended up on her plate. We sat there waiting for the manager to finally come out and apologize but never happened. We were going to try and just forget about the whole experience and get the h-ll out of there until my sister took a sip of her water and found a hair that was clearly not any of ours. That completely put us over the edge. My husband decided to go tell the manager what happened and she not only didn't apologize, she basically blew him off and believe it or not, the waitress said 'it could have been worse.' What a horrible experience!!!
Awesome Eat for Soul & Tummy

Love it. Great for kids, awesome food, super-nice staff and really, really good music. Mind you, this has quickly become THE hot spot for San Antonio's Christian music scene. Music-lovers of any creed would do well to stop by and get a sample of the tasty licks and poetry found here on week-end nights. The rest should at leats come for the food and great atmosphere. A truly uplifting spot with a lot of soul and plenty of treats.
- Pros: Food, Music, Service, Great for kids
- Cons: Can get crowded on week-end nights!
worth it.

My expectations were to be "snacking" at a little coffe place. I was wrong. Not only did they have excellent coffees, but an extravaganza of great wraps, sandwiches, pitas and entree's. Oh save room for dessert. The service was good too as my waiter (Chris?) greeted me with a smile and a good personality. it was well worth it.
