now closed but try The Wash Dawg!!!

Well I was taking my dogs here but now they are closed. They were okay. But I needed my 3 dogs done asap. So I tried this new place The Wash Dawg... Can I just say WOW!!!!
I have a golden doodle (which I know is hard work to groom), and 2 schnauzers.
I have never seen them look so beautiful and I have been to a few other shops here in San Antonio.
When I walk in I noticced how clean it was and the people working there were very nice and answered all my questions. They gave me a tour of the place and showed me where the dogs would be kenneled and the grooming area. Very nice and I was impressed.
The prices are a little higher than Doggie Dooz but not by much, but definately worth the quality of work that comes out of this shop. It is really amazing!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE WASH DAWG. My 5 stars is for The Wash Dawg :)

We take our 3 dogs to Doggie Dooz twica a month for grooming and its been about 3 years and we have never had any problems or complaints with the staff or our dogs, they do the beat job in town and this i know, I have tried other shops but they have never looked so good.

Horrible experience

We took our cocker spaniel to Doggie Dooz because they are so close by. We were told it would be a 4-5 hour wait until we could pick him up. We called after four hours and were told he would be ready at 4:30. When we arrived at 4:45 we were told it would be another 30-45 minutes. After 45 minutes, our dog appears looking nothing like himself. Instead of the trim we requested our dog was completely shaven...EVERYWHERE. Including his face, ears and whiskers. It looked awful. I will never give Doggie Dooz business again. The staff is also not gentle and kind to your pet...they are treated like "the work", not animals, and part of the family. They will never be trusted with my pet again. Avoid this place at all costs.
