Don't go unless you like slop. first of all I asked if the chicken was white meat and the waitress went back and asked and said it was 100 pct white meat.(not). i ordered chicken chalupas and got chicken enchilades/ spanish rice taste like packaged mix. flour tortillas not homemade. nothing good except tea. food expensive for lunch slop. waitress told boss about my problems but he never came out to apologize or show his face!! horrible experience. (smells musty inside also)

Great service and a small town feel!. Grumpy's food is hot of the kitchen and meals are large! Food is always excellent and the staff is friendly! Go when you are hungry!

Best Nachos Ever!!!!. How yummy is this place!!! I always break my diet here, you can't help it, the food is just that good! I have never had anything bad here and like the other diners said the staff is great. It is always packed but they still have a smile on their face!

Good food every time. I've been there for breakfast and for lunch and the food was delicious!! And portions are so big that you sometimes have enough to take home for another meal, or share with someone.

Pancakes were so fluffy and delicious.

Chicken fried steak is a lot to tackle, but so good it is difficult to stop eating!

Waitstaff is always friendly and helpful.

My new favorite place - and I live in Austin!!. Grumpy's is wonderful! The minute I pulled into the parking lot I knew this was my new place. I love the ambiance. It was like walking into a friends' house! Very casual and comfortable. I am still in shock about how happy and friendly the wait staff was. I have never experienced such service before. Each and every person who worked there acted like they loved their job and were having a great time! I felt like I was with friends and family. The food (puffy tacos) were to die for. It was certainly enough food for 2 meals or to split with someone. I drove my leftovers home to Austin - was not about to waste it. If you are looking for a relaxed and fun place to meet friends and have a home cooked meal this is the place for you. Beer selection is VERY small and I would recommend adding a few more Mexican beers to the menu. I give Grumpy's 5 stars for everything!
