BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! At this establishment if the cook gets your order wrong not once, but twice and ask you them to do it over again, then the customer is asked to pay on the third try! What I got was not what I ordered. Seriously, what kind of way is that to do business! The customer after me asked for his money back, because the tomatoes on his sandwich did not taste very good. I will never give Grant Street Pizza my business again!
Okay but could have been better – So I decided to check this place out because my co-workers seem to like it. i ordered the following:
Kid Spaghetti 4.39
Kid Pizza 4.39
2 Slices & Drink 5.99
I was disapointed when I open my boxed food at work. The kids spagetthi was ok and my child love it.
My 2 Slices & Drink was ok
Now...my kids pizza was the same size as my stapler. I even took a picture. For what I paid I got ripped off. What bothers me the most is that for what little food I got I could have ordered a whole pizza for less price yet the register person did not make any suggestion or anything, which is understandable because their trying to get as much money in as they can.
Overall I think the pizza is good but I would not go their again. I could have gone to little ceaser's and bought 3 large pizzas for what I paid here.
Bad pizza Bad service – This pizza place just straight up sucks.
Good News! New Adorable Delivery Driver – I'm so happy Grant Street Pizza got a new adorable delivery driver. He's a reall cutie and is quick too! Now I can have my favorite pizza any time I want again!!!!!!!
HORRIBLE! – Worst customer service EVER. Went there twice, and both times the staff was extremely rude. All the crew should be fired and replaced. If they treat people this bad, I can only imagine what happens in the kitchen behind closed doors. AVOID THIS PLACE!
amazing food! be impressed! – I've lived in San Antonio for 5 years now and my family is big on their pizza. i recently moved out o my own and after an over load of domino's pizza i need to find a place to fit my love for italian food without over loading on pizza. Finally i decides to try grant street pizza down the street from where i now live. I couldnt have made a better choice. the food here is great! you have a bigger variety than the typical pizza joints, and they know how to make a mean pizza.
grant street is a great place to eat and its very family oriented! you will be very pleased with their food. dont get me wrong they have their bad days just like any other food joints do but overall the place is great!
Let Down – Today was my second visit to Grant St Pizza. The girl at the register seemed like she hated life and did not want to be there. After getting my salad I noticed a gritty taste while eating it. After examination I realized the lettuce had not been washed. There was dirt in my salad! The pizza came out and was on the crunchy side. I finally asked for the manager but instead the owner came out. I got my money back but will never go there again.
I hate Liars and Lazy People – 3-12-11. Ok, I've tried them again. We called in an order for delivery as a friend was in from out of town and was fond of them at one time. We ordered a pizza for delivery and were told 20 minutes. An hour and a half later we had no pizza. I decided to call in and was told they had our pizza but they did not have it logged as a delivery. They told me we ordered for pick up. A room full of people, who were listening to this call, said and agreed the pizza was ordered for delivery. I was then told, imagine this, their delivery drivers were gone for the night. If I could rate less than one star I would. These people deserve to be out of business and I would love to see them all unemployed.
I used to love this place but nowadays it sucks. In the last year I've called them for delivery at least ten times to be told, "our driver called in.". I find this ridiculous. Over the span of a year one would think a dependable driver could be found. Also, the girl or girls who answer the phone are complete cun*s. It seems they are only there for the pittance of a check and some free food. Stay away!!!!
Worst Service Ever – I have been a customer of this restaurant since 2001 - the grilled veggie pizza there is amazing. Recently, however, the service has dropped off considerably. Today was the final straw, though - the restaurant was a mess, poorly stocked, and the cashier/waitress was outright offensive after I called her out on overcharging me on our bill. It was an honest mistake on her part, but she became very nasty and defensive about it which further reflected on the rest of our meal. Prime example - when I asked to have the ice refilled in the soda machine, I was told that she would "do it later" (and then promptly got on the phone with her boyfriend, leaving me with no ice). Of course, when the next customer came in about 10 minutes later and asked the same thing, she immediately filled the ice for him. When we asked for plates to share our salad, the level of exasperation she expressed with me was ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and skip this place - I wouldn't consider eating there again (at least not until that idiot at the cashier is fired)..
Best Pizza in town – I am a pizza lover and a good critic and I can honestly say this is one of my favorite pizza places in town! The subs are great too! I really encourage you to go and try it out.
