What a great meal at a great price!! The Greek side salad that came with the meal was fresh (even the tomatoes and cucumber), & loaded with feta cheese. I had the gyros plate with fries & the meat was tender in the middle & crispy on the sides like I love it. The fries were fresh and crunchy. It's not the Ritz Carlton but I'd recommend this place to anybody any day & twice on Sunday.

Just ate at Kostas and I have to say the person that called it a hole in the wall was right! Ordered lamb chops meatballs and gyro meat with salad and a bottle of water. The water was sitting on the floor still in the box but there was ice and cups. The salad was crisp but the dressing tasted like oil with a touch of vinegar. The meat was okay but very greasy. And overall the place felt dirty. I can't even give it one star.

The best Greek hole in the wall in SAT. This place is incredible. Whatever they are doing to their lamb, they need to share it with the world. Awesome little hidden restaurant in the NE San Antonio. The sandwiches are tender, juice and incredibly delicious. The tzatiki sauce is to die for, and the salads are so abundant, and they are not modest with their DELICIOUS cheese. Most importanly, the prices are amazing. This place is authentic, delicious, and affordable. You have got to try it! I just recently moved back to San Antonio, and I know I am becoming a regular :)

Hidden Gem!. I am so glad that I dropped into this place. They have great food for amazing prices. Their gyros are the best I have had EVER! Everything is so authentic and delicious! I am going to steal their recipe for the tzatziki sauce!

BEST Greek Food in San Antonio. This place is the BEST Greek place in town!! The food is AMAZING and so authentic! The best pita and Tzatziki Sauce ever! I usually get the traditional gyro plate with french fries and I have NEVER been disappointed! My husband get's the Kosta's Sampler platter, which is also delishious!! The meat is so tasty and super fresh!! The food is always hot, fresh and yummy!!! Everything is make to order in the small back kitchen!

Excellent Greek Food!!. My fiance and I just tried Kostas tonight for the first time, and we were very pleased with our experience. Each order is freshly prepared, so it may take a few minutes for a big party, but we only waited like 3 min. before we received our yummy Greek salad. You have to try the hummus and I highly recommend the classic gyro plate with the Greek green beans. The baklava is also delicious and you get a big piece for $1.75. The Greek coffee may not be for everyone, but I loved it. In fact, there wasn't one thing about the restaurant that I didn't enjoy. The atmosphere is quaint, but that's what keeps the prices low. I have been to the other Greek restaurants in San Antonio, and this is by far the most authentic and tasty.

Greek Food. Alright this place totally reminds me of my Grandmothers cooking. Since coming to San Antonio I have experienced almost every Greek place here and I have to say this is pretty damn authentic. Its almost like eating in someones Greek kitchen back in BROOKLYN!
