Ask yourself.... I have read the other reviews and must say....If the negative ones weren't advertising for another store...why is it mentioned in this review at all? I have been a customer of this establishment from the day it opened. I have shopped around SA and have found that the prices are competitive if not lower than most other stores. I was carded upon entry and not offended at all...the staff have always been polite to me (of course I am polite to them too) Do these people think that other people never touched these toys from assembly to the shelves? What they were made in the boxes? Hopefully people use antibacterial soap and wash before using any purchase of any personal item. I don't think the store should be questioned here, they are trying to catch defectives before they hit the door. No product is perfect all the time...and personally, I would be more upset if it didn't work than if they touched it. Keep up the good work!

My Favorite Novelty Store!!. The staff at the Adult Video Megaplex(xx) has always been nothing but helpful and understanding, and no, thank you, I'm not saying that just to say it. Anytime I have had a question about a product, an employee has always been available to help me find what I'm looking for. Their selection is large- not as big as the one in South Austin, of course- but I can easily find what I'm looking for, or be pointed in the direction of something similar. As for couples, my gentleman and I have always found going to the megaplex to be a fun errand to run, and never something that we disliked. Couples night (sundays) is our favorite night to go- not only do we stock up in incense (haha), but we get a discount on novelties. Keep in mind, years ago, this location was a mexican food joint, so don't expect it to be a hollywood porn set. It's just one store with excellent customer service and as much merchandise as you can fit into an awkwardly shaped building.

Kudos, plexxx staff, for doing what you do.

ADULT MEGAPLEX SAN ANTONIO TX. My gf and I went to the Megaplexxx for the FIRST AND LAST TIME...the personnel is very rude...they do test your merchandise in front of other customers...supposedly because once you buy it you can't return it!! and yes they do ID card you when your gonna pay...the items are very expensive...and not good at all...we don't recommended it at all!!!

Wash your hands. I recently bought a vibrator for my chick.....when I went up to pay for it. The very rude black chick. Took it out of the package and tested it out right in front of me. I was to embarrassed to just leave it on the counter. That stuff is kind of personal....I don't anybody touching our dildos. This chick did and I still had to pay for it. Very unprofessional.....she told me that they had to test each one cause once I bought it - You couldn't return it. I'll think twice before I buy there again!!!!!

The pits!. Wow this place is dirty! The employees are unwilling to help. the toys and dvds are overpriced. Not couple friendly. The male employees stare at all the women who enter. I imagine that must be quite uncomfortable! Corporate store with absolutely no personality. Shop someplace else and for Christ's sake do NOT take your wife or girlfriend there! Try Texxx Video on E. IH-10, very friendly and reasonably priced. The employees at Texxx are very helpful and are always able to answer your questions.

I've found better places. I've been there at least a good 20 times of the past couple of years and its rare that I've had a good experience at both locations. My gf and I went to the N IH 35 location and was greeted rudely by a male wanna be thug employee who wanted to card us. At the 281 & Nakoma location my gf refused to walk in there anymore because she didn't want to be constantly stared at by the male employees or the male rent a cops (who couldn't protect anyone). The worst part one of those employees was supposed to the manager. How professional! Either way their products are way over priced especially the toys. The lighting makes the place look dark and dirty. They don't really have a selection when it comes to lingerie. After looking around at other San Antonio Adult stores, luckily enough we found a place called Texas Nights on Evers Rd & Wurzbach. They have plenty of toys, movies, and lingerie. They even allow you to order products and they're very nice and always greet you with a smile. This isn't some advertisement for the store, we just get tired of hearing other people think and say that the Megaplex is the greatest place on earth for adult stuff. They're just some mega corporation trying ripping people off.

BEST PRICES, AND STAFF IS OPEN TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS.. I WALKED IN AND WAS WELCOMED AND THE STAFF WAS READY TO DIRECT ME TO WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR BECAUSE I ASKED. I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE A PERVERT, OR A DIRTY PERSON. I WAS TREATED WITH THE UPMOST RESPECT AND THE PLACE IS CLEAN AND NOONE BOTHERS YOU THERE OR TRIES TO COME ON TO YOU. I DON'T MAKE IT A HABIT TO GO INTO ADULT VIDEO AND BOOKS STORES, BUT I FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE AT THE ADULTMEGA PLEX AT ANY LOCATION IN SAN ANTONIO. I GUESS SINCE LOVE IS A PART OF LIFE ALOT MORE PEOPLE SHOULDN'T ACT LIKE THEY DON'T LIKE IT. AFTER ALL THATS HOW WE ALL GOT HERE. DO PRACTICE SAFE LOVING THOUGH IF YOUR NOT READY FOR CHILDERN.
