Dangerous!!! Deadly for known allergens!!!. Wandered in one day to eat and spent the evening in the Emergency room!

Peanut allergic folks Beware!!!!

You can not avoid the nut allergy's here, they serve nuts by the buckets, allow to be thrown on the floor.

I imagine by the time the nut oils are smeared around by the customers and wait staff it is most likely even on the bathroom knobs, menus, chair backs, plates and eating utensils.

I never made it through ordering and could barely make it to my vehicle before my throat started to close up.

If you want to discover just how sensitive a nut allergy you or one of your children might have this place would be equal to visiting a nut factory!

Shame too.... I had heard they had really good food, to bad they must really hate nut sensitive people bad enough to want to keep us away.

i wish they would loose the nuts, bring in a cleaning crew and reopen, I would happily be there in line.

Very good food at a great price!. I love this place. The food is terrific. The only complaint that I have is that it can be quite a wait even if you do a "call ahead". Also, if you have a family member in a wheelchair the wait is even longer due to the lack of accessible spots available. They do not offer reservations, only call a heads so it can be very difficult if you are celebrating a special event and have a lot of people in your party. Oh, and they don't do call a heads for parties larger than 9.

Ribs & Ribeyes!. When I am entertaining out of town guests and they want a great steak...I don't bother with Ruth's or Morton's...I head straight to the Roadhouse! I don't even bother with a menu, I always order the Ribs & RibEye plate. The rib meat simply slides off the bone, the steak is always cooked the way you order it, and have never, ever had to use any kind of steak sauce. If you have to use a steak sauce on a steak, I feel it wasn't good enough. Trust me...best value for the buck, or simply the best steak....go to Texas Roadhouse.

Awesome Steaks and Ribs!. I went to the Texas Road House for the first time today. I started with their happy hour wings and (melon) margarita. I was pleasantly surprised by the wings. It's a very nice change to get wings that aren't so smothered in sauce you can't tell which meat you're eating. The mild wings were tasty, hot and I got quite a few of them. The margarita I wouldn't order again. It tasted like the kind you get from a machine, and wasn't very good. I didn't realize I'd get the blended margarita. But for $2 bucks, it's not too bad a drink (regular HH margaritas were $1.50).

Then I ordered the Rib Eye & Rib combo plate, with the loaded 'tater and fresh veggies. The Rib Eye was a fantastic cut, cooked perfectly. It was a tiny bit salty for me but by far, exceptional. The ribs were tasty and fell off the bone when I tried to eat them. They were very tender and flavorful. The veggies were not over cooked at all! Now there's something you don't see every day.

For the bucks, you get a LOT of food. I had a few bites of my steak, 1/2 the ribs and less than 1/2 of the wings. I took the rest home. The service was excellent. The wait staff, when they walked by my table they took empty plates and glasses. I didn't have to wait for my waiter.

The manager introduced himself when he found that I was a first timer. He said to let him know if I had any problems or special requests and gave me a card for a free munchie next time I went. For all the food I got I paid $24 bucks. Oh - plus lots of bread with cinnimon butter.

Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant. Exceptional food, great wait staff and timely service (I went before 5:00 pm on a Monday). I will absolutely be back to the Texas Road House, probably on a regular basis.

That's Texas All right. Before anything, I must say that the bread rolls are absolutely amazing. They're moist and warm and soft. They even come with cinnamon butter. The rest of the meal is almost as good as the rolls. If you're looking for the country taste, this restaurant will indulge your senses--and not just your tastebuds. The atmosphere of the restaurant looks and feels like the country. Even with scatterings of peanut shells on the floor enhance the atmosphere, bringing a barn-like feel to the restaurant.

Number 1 Hands down! I'm Addicted!. Floridians, New Yorkers, Puerto Ricans have been my guests while dineing at Texas Roadhouse and it has always been a HUGE hit. The Excitement, The FOOD, the service, the whole dineing experience has always been A+ ,and have converted my Friends and Family into True Texan Cowboys as soon as they walk through those doors. The Delicious dry roasted peanuts, the warm fresh bread with the cinnamon butter are the best starters. The prices and the quality are like no other restaurant that i've been to. My guests have always asked to return, the night before they leave to their "Texas Roadhouse-less" States haha. It is a very addicting restaurant!! AND... i believe they should expand this franchise, and satisfy their #1 fans in other states-- YEEEE HAwWW!! :)

YeeeeHAWWW!!!. Texas Roadhouse has some darned good food. Even the Road Kill was excellent..LOL!! Really...the chopped steak is smothered in onions, mushrooms, and cheese, and it is EXCELLENT! My next favorite thing is the french fries with the works. So yummy covered with cheese, real bacon bits, and green onions. I always ask for a little ranch for dipping on the side, and WOW-WEE is it that yummy. The portions are huge, the service is friendly, the place is comfy, and the PRICE IS RIGHT! What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, the peanuts are a good "remember-me" thing about the place, and those hot slightly sweet rolls with the blissfull honey butter...lip smackin' good.

A barbecue joint where the steaks are named after Texas cities and tender enough to call home about.. The Scene
Loud sports on the TV and even louder pop music keep up the pace. When in doubt of the motivation that brought you to such a place, order drinks like the Jamaican Cowboy or the Roadhouse Rowdy Margarita to calm the nerves. Entertaining murals on the walls are themed Americana mixed with Texana.

The Food
How can a restaurateur from outside of the state come to call their prized brand the 'Texas' Roadhouse and get away with it? Prepare and serve Grade-A cuts of beef and name them after Texas cities--and it works. The Dallas filet barely requirs a knife; it was that delicate. Appetizers like rattlesnake bites are made with jack cheese and diced jalapenos, deep fried and served with a Cajun horseradish sauce for delectable dipping. All in all the atmosphere was on par with the corporate competition but the food beat the opposition hands down.
