Worst Customer Service of All Time!. I called Comal rentals for some items I needed for my wedding and was told I would get a call back the same day letting me know if they had what I needed. After no call back I called the next day and was told they were very busy but were working on my quote. I called about twice weekly for the next 2-3 weeks and was told each time they were still working on my quote. At this time I was so close to my wedding date, I was getting worried. I sent an email asking to please at least let me know that they had the items I needed and I could wait for the actual quote. The next day I got an email saying they would not be able to rent to me. I feel that they had the items I requested considering I was told they were working on a quote but because I was requesting it get to me in a reasonable time frame they wouldn't even work with me. Thank goodnes for Whim event rentals in dripping springs. I called them after being treated so rudley by Comal rentals and they got a quote to me the same day I called.
They have what you need!. Mike and Jackie are friendly, well-organized and well-stocked. I've used them for multiple events including receptions, formals, and even my own wedding. They have a large selection of linens and serving ware as well as other indoor and outdoor items for a variety of social events. I've used them for both events planned well in advance as well as for last minute needs and they've never let me down.
beware!!! run away as fast as you can!!. Our first appointment with Mike was in Feb. 2011. We were very specific with our needs for our daughter's wedding. After several emails and phone calls we felt it was necessary to take time off from work to meet with him in person. We went from San Antonio back to meet with Mike again mid July, 2011. After this meeting he still had mistakes on the contract proposal. I sent an email with very specific corrections and several deletions. He immediately sent me a very terse statement that he was withdrawing our contract proposal and would not work with us. I immediately called to find out what had brought on the rude dismissal. He was very aggressive and rude on the phone. Said we had refused to pay him any money. With all of our other vendor contracts we have only paid the deposit when the contract was agreed to and signed by both parties. When I informed our caterer who had recommended Mike and been with us at the first meeting she called Mike. He confirmed exactly what I said he had said on the phone with me. We are now without any rentals: tents, dishes, everything needed to host a wedding outdoors. He is very disrespectful and surly. Go anywhere but here for your rental needs!
