Caring Dentist. I'm new to San Antonio, my husband is stationed here for next three years. I needed to see a dentist and I was referred to Dr. Blaess. I'm glad, I went to her she was very caring and attentive. Throughout the root canal I didn't feel a thing. I hope this post will help someone like me, who is looking for a good dentist.

Finally my Braces are Off. It's been just over a year and my braces are off. I can't believe I can smile now. I really liked the experience even though in the beginning I had my doubts - the discomfort and spending extra time on brushing my teeth and coming in to the office for adjustments. I can't thank enough Dr. Blaess and her staff.

Stay AWAY!!!!. Are you kidding me??? Does the staff do anything else other than write their own reviews?

I went there because I read all the good reviews, and what a surprise: NOTHING like the recommendations.

Dr. Blaess is nice, that's right. But really, bombarding me in stereo (by 2 dr.'s) with all kinds of aesthetic work I supposedly need? They did talk me into getting 4 veneers, and guess what?!? I have to pay another dentist now to take them off and re-do them. I never had sensitive teeth before, but now I can't even drink room-temperature water without cringing. Dr. Blaess said it's "normal", it will go away, but it's been 4 months, and I'm STILL suffering. Also, they look like jelly-beans, or chiclets. Biggest mistake I ever made was to listen to "Objective" reviews online. I should have gone to a dentist that may charge a bit more, but that actually does good work, and is not only after my money....

Best Dentist. I was scared, but I truly enjoyed my first root canal with Dr. Blaess. Even the staff did not believe that but it's true. She makes the process painless and easy to understand. I look forward to my next visit. Really. I definitely recommend Dr. Blaess to any one.

Thank you!. I have been coming to Dr. Blaess for years but due to my work I was out of San Antonio for 2 years. In the past 2 years I have seen four dentists, one for myself and three for my kids. My kids do not cry when they see Dr. Blaess and I?m not afraid either. I'm glad to be back to my hometown and see My dentist. I recommend Dr. Blaess to anyone.

Best Dental Office in Town!. The entire office, staff and Dr. Blaess have been wonderful! I have been a patient for 4 years and haven't had a bad experience yet. When I first began seeing Dr. Blaess, I was very afraid of dentists and knew that I needed alot of work done. Her adn her staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. My first few visits were long in depth and I was treated very repectfully and with care. For that I am a patient of hers for life (as long as she stays in San Antonio =0). With working in the medical field myself, patient referrals are very postive and encouraging. I think taht I have referred every employee that I know and firends that ask who I see. She takes great care of me and since I started Invisalign, she has been my new hero, because I love my smile!!! I am a frequent patient who is seen every four weeks and they are always willing to work with my busy schedule. I am going to be sad when i am done with my ortho care and only get to see her every six months. I would highly recommend anyone to schedule an appointmnet with Dr. Blaess. She is caring, a perfectionist (so my mouth is always looking its best) and loves what she does!! Please call and schedule an appointment, you will not be let down on the service that you receive there!

Best Dental Office in Town!. I have been through several Dentists in my life and have none of them have treated me the way that I was treated at Northwoods Dental Spa. Dr. Blaess and Dr. Z took the time to explain my treatment program to me in a way that could be understood. The Staff was amazing, professional and informative. It was nice to go to a place that you wouldn't normally feel comfortable and feel right at home. The addition of the Spa Services has turned it into a family venture for myself, my wife and our children. Thanks Northwoods for being the best!

Happy Smile. Dr. Blaess and staff at Northwoods Dental did an excellent job. I had 6 veneers put it, now every one tells me that I look younger. My kids tell me they want to go to a dentist and get a smile like mine.

Almost ended up in the hospital. Had a routine procedure and got an infection in my gums the next day. Went in to see the Dr. Blaess and she wasnt there so Dr. Z told me i was fine and gave me some mouthwash. Two days later i had a headache and the pain was moving from my mouth up the side of my face. Went back again, and literally had to BEG for antibiotics. RIDICULOUS! Do not go here unless you are prepared to beg for proper treatment.

De Zavala Dental. This is the best dental experience I have ever had. The staff was very polite and accomodating. The dentist was very professional and pain free!!!
