Retama Ranch

Worst place we have ever lived!!!. Myself, my wife and son moved into Retama Ranch Apartments because we wanted to be closer to my son's school and we had a "friend" (so we thought) working in the office at the time. Let me start by saying that it looked a lot bigger before we moved in! It was so very small, especially for the almost $900 a month I was paying! The smallest apartment I have lived in but also one of the most expensive! We also got locked out of our garage in the middle of the night repeatedly and was late to work numerous times because they never fixed it properly. The last 2 months I paid and never even used it! Then the icing on the cake was when our hot water heater broke and it took them 5 days to fix it!! They said it wasn't broken at first, then they sent another guy that didn't know how to fix a water heater (LOL), then after the head idiot finished his weekend they finally fixed it. Then when I went to get modest compensation for my meals they started acting like little catty teenagers. They told upper management that I went crazy on them, they tried to charge me for a missing cable box from the office, the leasing agent Kristina wrote us on MySpace saying how out of line we were for wanting our water heater fixed and had her thug boyfriend send us threatening messages. They said that we weren't allowed in the office anymore and started trying to push us out! We then left at the end of our lease and left our apartment in about 90% condition only to get a $1200 bill for cleaning!! Just stay away from this place, it'll be the best decision of your life!! ESPECIALLY MILITARY!! MILITARY STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!!…

Do not rent from Retama Ranch!!. Placed a work order to have toilet fixed. I walked into the office myself. I called later the same day to inform the staff that no one had come to fix the toilet the response was "maintence will be there today." Later that night when I phoned the office I expected to have access to an emergency system. There was only the option to leave a message for the staff to hear the next morning. No emergency paging system!!! The next day when I walked into the office I informed the ladies of my experience they laughed! What was is so funny about having to leave the apartment to use the restroom at the gas station! These girls have are much to young to be working for this company.…

Great Size, Great Price. I love the size of the apartment. I have a 2 bdrm, 2 bath with a huge walk in closet. The office staff stinks but I only had to deal with them once or twice. Maintence workers were great and they are the ones that matter. The security gate didn't always work but it had a great couryard for my dog.…
