Poor infection control. I am in the middle of getting tested for infectious diseases (which I am afraid could be from visiting this dentist) after suffering many neurological symptoms for the past 6 months. Dr. Farrimond placed 3 crowns in my mouth in 2001. When I went into the procedure, he did not have his drill clean. I noticed a pattern of "white stuff" on the handle. I thought the assistant would come in and change the handle. When he did come in, he reclined me back in the chair and changed what I thought to be the dirty drill handle. When done with the procedure, he sat me up and I saw that same "white stuff" pattern on the drill! I thought it couldn't be true, so when I went in 2 weeks or so later to get the permanent crowns on, I was placed in the same chair and low and behold, the drill was right in front of my face, dirty, with "white stuff" all over it. He didn't wear gloves or a mask either. Never again, sorry.
