Tips for Monarch Dental

Both of my children had their braces done here. I had to deal with the rude office staff for 2 years. A complete nightmare. They only schedule visits during school time (of course) and I had to take off of work every time I took them for their monthly visits.The whole ordeal would take hours from waiting time to waiting for the ortho to come in. They are insanely overpriced. Dr. K is rude but her assistants were very nice with the exception of one new girl that likes to scream at people in the waiting room. So glad my children have their braces off now. Will be finding a new ortho for retainers though. $400 is a little steep for a broken retainer. Also when you go to visit the dentist there they want to do everything but what you came in for. Dr. Irving charged me $1700 for a crown. Didn' t know better then. Thank god this nightmare is over.

The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, Dr Irvin is probably the best dentist I have visited with great people skills.

The Dentist and Hygienist, were extremely knowledgeable and made my experience very pleasant. Once in the dental chair my appointment went by very quickly and they were quick to get me in for my next appointment. Thumbs up!

The staff/dentist were very cordial and made me feel right-at-home. The dental assistant was especially warm and friendly and tended to my needs very professionally.

Extremely Poor Scheduling Service. I called to schedule a cleaning for 2 first time patients. I was told in order to do the cleanings there would have to also be initial examinations and x-rays and those would be done during the same visit. Ok, that seems pretty normal. I've never been to a dentist who just did a cleaning with no exam. So during our 1st visit, and several dollars later, we got 2 examinations and one cavity/sealant and no cleanings! We were told we would have to reschedule the cleanings for another day. I was NOT IMPRESSED with their service!!
