They don't follow their customer service creed. Purchased a water heater 6/2011. It leaked 1 hour after installation. The repair person came out 3 hours later and fixed it. I didn't notice at the time but they had NOT installed the vent pipe correctly! It was NOT attached to the water heater or to the vent stack. I began to smell gas in the closet. on 10/2011 I called AAA to come out and repair. The repair person said it was installed correctly, but when all the vent stack fell to the floor, he had to fix it. He did a partial fix, but left a hole in the vent system and did not attach the vent pipe to the water heater. When I pointed this out, he asked to borrow screws from me to attach the vent pipe but told me there was no hole and "that's as good as it's going to get! If you want it fixed better you will have to call Monday and have the original person come fix it - it's his job!" I still have gas exhaust and CO2 leaking into my closet. I am going to call the city to come out and inspect the work.
Exceptional Work. Very professional exceptional work. Left my house very clean, hard workers. Great quality, great price. I would use them again.
San Antonio's Worst Plumbing Service. Over-priced, untrained employees, slow to get the job done and shoddy workmanship. They sent a man who could not possibly have been trained in even the basics of plumbing to find and repair a leak under my garage slab. The man did not understand how to use the diagnostic equipment. I had to explain the basic theory to him and assist him in choosing which pipes to cut and evaluate. Once the leaky pipe was identified he capped it and re-routed the pipe up the garage wall across the ceiling and back down -- very poor, ugly workmanship, completed 2 days later because they did not have the right materials on their truck. I later found out that I was charged nearly double what others would have charged. A bad experience made worse by a very poor company. DO NOT USE THEM !!!
Fast and Knowledgable. I called at 21:15 Sunday night looking for a plumber to clean out the line between my house and the street. I call AAA last and they were the first to call me back and say they were on the way. They beat Roto Rooter, San Antonio Service Co., and Aramendia. Harold looked it over and gave me a fair price for a Sunday night. Less than $200. He got right to work and was finished quickly. Maybe it would have cost less in the morning, but I could not wait till then. I would definitely recommend AAA and Harold for sure.
Super helpful people. First let me say these ppl have always been there for me. I am a very low income person and when I have a pluming problem these ppl are always there to help me There is a very special person that works there name Jesse if you have a problem call him he is always helpful. I have no complaint at all for the service or the work they do I dont know what we would do without them. I have used them about 6 times now and I would use no one else because I know these ppl I can depend on
Unhappy Customer!!.
Called for free estimate. Took forever to receive a service call. When service-man arrived he glanced at my low boy water heater and proceeded to tell my husband that for approx. 120.00 he could test the element and if we chose not to use their services we would be refunded half of the 120.00 service fee? Was that the "free" estimate listed in the ad in the yellow pages?? I'm confused?
Then we were given a estimate to replace the low boy water heater for the ridiculous price of 1200.00 + dollars.
Wow guys, water heaters cost about 300.00 at Lowes and Home Depot.....what's up with that price?
I wonder how many poor souls just pay the estimate without checking around....
That's just wrong!
No stars for you my friends...
water leak. called aaa auger on a water leak I had on the side of my house, plumber got to my home in less than an hour on a sunday morning. Water leak got fixed and all I needed was a replace elbow that cost about $5.00 at home depot. Plumber took about 30 min and was billed $270.00. work was done fast but I think their prices are too high. Would I use them again...? Well, if I had a major emergency I would fork out the dough for quick service.
Couldn't Get Past the Dispatcher!.
I called AAA Auger this morning to dispatch a plumber to fix my water heater.
I gave the dispatcher my address, home phone, and cell phone, and stressed
that the plumber would need to call me on my cell phone since I'd be at work
(I work only a few miles away). We agreed to a service visit "after 11:00am".
By noon, I'd received no call. I returned home for lunch, and found a message
left on my answering machine. The dispatcher had called my home instead
of my cell to inform me that the plumber would be delayed. I called AAA Auger
again, and reminded the dispatcher that he had to call my cell phone. He agreed
to mark that on the account.
At 6:00pm, I still hadn't received a call. I called AAA Auger again. This time,
the dispatcher claimed he had called my home at 3:45pm, and that a lady
had answered and told him that the plumber was already there.
We agreed that the dispatcher must have misdialed, since no one was
at my house during the day, but there was no explanation why he had
tried calling my house again instead of the cell phone. After having
already confirmed my street address and phone number, the dispatcher
confirmed his cluelessness by asking me what my plumbing problem was ... ;(
I told the dispatcher that I'd just call another plumber.
