Waterpump Repair

I had went to Quality Care Automotive based off the phone quote I received for my waterpump. I get there and they check my car and they came back and told me that yes it is indeed my waterpump and that I also should change my timing belt as well. And they also advised me that I had a cracked thermostat housing.I asked the guy how much it would be he advised me between 500 and 525.00 to fix it. I stated okay. I go and pick it up and the guy tells me it will be 544.63 I advise him that i was quoted 500-525.00. He stated okay i will go ahead and charge you the 525.00 so i was fine with that. I drive out of the repair shop and less than a mile away from the shop my car dies at a red light. I turn the ignition and it come back on. At that moment I call the shop and advise him of what is happening he stated okay we will check it to bring it back so I think oh the guys are honorable and are going to fix it. I take it in the next day and he ensure me they will fix the problem and keep in mind i have to miss work to do this. Then he calls me and says they correct the problem didn't fix it but corrected it. He told me that they moved some wires around and corrected the problem and also stated I now have a radiator leak and my motor mount is cracked. I said fine and took my car as soon as I get home guesse what the battery light on my console goes on. So I am thinking that maybe its a sensor thats out. So I leave to go to my son doctor and then out of the doctors office my car dies. I had to call the cops to get me out of the middle of the road and now my alternator is out. So now I am going to wait what they are going to tell me and do and i hope they do the honorable thing and realize they just screwed up my car. I will never ever go to this shop again. I will never recommend them to anyone else. You only get one chance at a first impression and they did not do well with this one. Oil Change & Transmission Flush

I had previously requested prices on oil change and transmission flush for a Diesel Ram 3500 Dodge. I thought the price was reasonable that I was quoated. After the service was accomplished the bill was about $50 dollars more than quoated. In fact it was $20 more than the dealer charges and they check all fluid levels etc. I guess I can blame myself for not getting a bottom line price before the work was done. I have never been charged a shop cost of $24 for shop supplies when getting oil changed and transmission serviced. Also my windshield washer was empty and the Air Filter needed replacing. When the dealer or Jiffy provides this type service everything is checked. Now I wonder if they even checked the rear end oil. I don't think they will get to much more of my business, I would definately not recommend them to a friend. I like to deal with honest people which are hard to find in the automotive repair field.

I had purchased a lemon from discovery auto sales in austin, David when I first brought it in to them he couldnt believe how a dealership cld have sold me a car like this and their preferred ins was bogus as well. but through it all David was patient with me even when I was so upset about how other s treated me and my family he was courteous, it was expensive that my car i just invested nearly 3000.00 needed a new engine which he put in for me with a real warranty that I needed becuz the 2nd engine blew too, David is awesome greg the owner is a little more abrupt. But all I can do now is pray the worst is over and by alll means, stay away from discovery auto sales in austin, or you will be meeting my david right away !, Thank you David Life isnt fair but so far you are !

Good Service!: I went there several months ago to get my tie rod and boot fixed and the people were so kind and very professional. My car ran smoothly after, and I am thinking of going back to get my a/c fixed

I am writing to say after speaking with one of the managers (Gregg) he convinced me with superior customer service ,that QCA is definitely a top rated establishment. He handled my complaint with professionalism and gave me an amicable solution to the issues involved. I will definitely return to his business for future repairs.
