What People Are Saying About Outback Steakhouse

In Short – Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
great service and food
by helicop
Outstanding service. Steaks are great. Noisy but good service and food make for a good evening of dining. The crowds on weekends attest to the popularity and decent pricing of this Outback. Try it, you will like it.
Date Place????
by bartbird
The Outback is not a date place, regardless of how well it does in the polls. The food is mediocre, at best. If you value a marginal steak with a big salad, a big baked potato, and some (surprisingly) good top-shelf margaritas, this is your stop. Beware of the long waits Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
- Pros: Top-Shelf Margaritas, Gut-Busting Portions
- Cons: , Heavily-seasoned
Worth each and every penny

If you have the time to drive out here, this location is well worth it.
As most of you well know Outback Steakhouse is a national chain with an Australian Theme.
Although the interior is dominated by a central bar, and the non-booth seating isn't exactly top notch the quality of the food and service will quickly make up for it.
The waiter was friendly and helpful. When we were unfamilar with an item he shortly yet consisly described the items in question. For Beverage Service he was always there, but not so much that his presense was intrusive, and never once did mine or my wife's drink every hit the bottom.
We both ordered a Prime Minister Prime Rib @ Medium. And by far it has to be one of the most tender, best tasting cuts of beef I had the pleasure of tasting.
- Pros: Waiting Staff, Food
- Cons: Location
