I loved it but now am over it.. This week I have my baby sis for spring break and wanted to show her around my neighborhood. It wasn't exactly the afternoon I had expected but she was sweet about it. The sushi was blan and the plates smelled like dirty chemicals. I read the reviews that were posted before I went for happy hour and should have listened. We should have went to watch Alice and Wonderland.
horrible customer service and Mediocre food. I placed an order for two and the second order was improperly made. I called back to inform them of this and if they can fix it. The casher flat out said NO and that we didn’t order it right. She then offered me credit for a later order when I said "no may I speak to a manager" she said he was busy and hung up. I called back repeatedly and they hung up one more time and just didn’t answer the rest of my calls. I can say whole heartedly that this is the last time I will ever eat there.
The worst. some of the worst service over the phone . First, let me say I am a frequent customer China Latina but after today 's service will most likely be my last day. I was treated rudely and as a liar by both the cashier and Manager Victor. I placed a phone order for pick up totaling more $26( so of the staff was standing there joking and playing around with cashier like always) and after getting back home I noticed that the chicken fried rice smelled harsh (almost sour like). After further inspection I noticed there was little to no chicken and lots of onions and chive. I called to China Latina and asked to speak with the manager and the cashier rudely told me he was busy and to call back. I asked to be placed on hold so that I could talk to him and she hung up on me. After waiting 2-3 hours I call back and spoke with Victor who was very rude and made claim that it was fresh and didn't smell ( mind you he never ask my name, time I visited, or even saw the food in question.) He ask that I drive cross town to bring it back so he could see and statement that it had but several hours since I purchased so it is sour due to that. I told him how rudely he was handling the issue and that his cashier never allow me through to him. This was an issue that could have been easily resolved early in the day. Overall I was unhappy with the service and food. I would hope that this would not happen to an other customer
Great Place. the chinese food is fairly standard but the sushi is one of the best in san antonio. i have been eating there for about 4 years and am completely satisfied.
was a great place to eat. For years i frequent this restaurant however, i noticed it was going down in the food, and then i notice the customer service and then it got to the point where i would just call in the orders and pick only choice i had at the time. On May 27, 2009 i was having dinner with my sister her daughter and my husband celebrating a birthday. My sister was already seated, then my husband and i arrive we order 3 kiren beer and ribs as appetizers and we were eating laughing and have good time. I went to the restroom when i noticed the waitress i know who she is her name is Gina and i walked into the last stall of the restroom and i caught her doing white powder in her nose. I stopped at the bar as some friends said hi to me - around this time the waitress Gina walks beside me and calls me a "old b----ch" and i turned around and asked what and she continued carrying on with undesireable language. I then approached what i thought was the manager in the front area as he is eating which he thought his eating was more important. Immediately, before i could say anything to him he told me & my party to leave and get the "hell out of here" i said my i speak to the owner and he said I am the owner , it then became a free for all, some of the employees were screaming and telling me that he was not the owner. We paid our tab and left. The manager shot the finger at all of us.
nice place. I eat there quite often, only once have i had a problem. and it was taken care of. quick seating, nice service inexpensive and GREAT food.
They never get it right!. The food is great and the atmosphere is really nice. But the customer service here is the worst!!! I just had lunch there today; I asked for water, I got iced tea. I asked for a fried wonton, I got an egg roll. I ordered a lemon chicken plate to go, they forgot the lemon sauce. We work downtown and place a lot of to go orders with this restaurant and they can never get the order right. We are always missing something from our order. There really aren?t any other Chinese restaurants in the area. I guess that?s why we keep going back.
As close to authentic sushi as you'll get around here. Good sushi, fresh and good service. I feel bad for the people who went on a bad night. my husband and I have eaten there about 6 times everytime being good
Horrible customer service.. Me and my boyfriend went to China Latina 3 weeks ago and had a horrible experience. We were seated right away. Then it took around 15-20 minutes for a waiter to take our drink order. She wasn't even our waiter. She also took our food order. Our waiter finally arrived and apologized that he was helping in the kitchen. Our food then tood 35 mintues to come out after ordering. And all of our food was not brought to the table together. My boyfriend ate his food and I ended up eating alone because my food was brought out later. Our waiter then forgot to refill our drinks repeadedly. We also were not given silverware and had to wait until someone came back around to our table. Our waiter was talking to patrons at another table for around 10-15 minutes and seemed like he completely forgot he was working. He then took forever to bring our bill over. I would not recommend it if you like good service. I expect to be waited on when I go out to eat. It's sad because some people do this for a living and are horrible at it. FYI... The owner was walking around waiting tables and didn't come ask us if we needed anything and she avoided eye contact with us.

Tonight I had dinner at China Latina. It was the worse service ever. My waitress was incompetent and when we spoke with management they too failed to take any reasonable action. We entered the restaurant and were promptly set. Many tables were available. We then waited 15 minutes before someone to our drink order and only after we flagged down a hostess. An 1 hr later appetizers we're served. At 1hr & 30minutes we required about the time for our meal. The waitress reported one sushi chef but failed to provide alternatives and let us continue to wait. We watch tables come and go around us.
We spoke to management and they provided the same excuse rather unapologetic. We were promised a quick 5 minutes before our meal was prepared. It seemed reasonable considering it was getting late and their were many tables empty around us. 15 minutes later the first dish was sent out. Even after our conversations with management no one took decisive action to address any problem. Our appetizers and drinks we're compted. Hardly sufficient for a small birthday gathering of 6. We finally canceled an order that had never made it out to the table even after everyone else had been served and had eaten.
Very disappointed in the service, response and reaction. We confusingly sat and watched waitress and manager avoid eye contact, attention and service. They knew a problem existed and looked the other way. I work in the area and my experience will be shared. It already made for good after dinner conversation with friends who had ate at a different restaurant and left before we even received our appetizer.
