food lovers heaven. This is one of my favorite places in town. The food is simple, sandwiches, desserts, etc. But they manage to take a simple thing like sandwiches and bring them to a level most sandwiches could only fantasize about. Their carrot soup is delectable. And I don't even like carrots much. Their desserts are varied and the only thing bad about them is deciding which one to choose. You feel like a kid in a candy shop and you mother says choose one thing. It is hard to decide what to get. The owners are down to earth and very personable as is the staff. I don't know if I take more time deciding what to order or more time eating the food. The choices are amazing. It is a comfortable place where you can sit for a long time eat, talk to friends, and not feel they are staring down your neck trying to get you to move on.…

Great little place that is hardly ever open. I live near this place and love to stop in for the rustic potato soup and sandwiches. The pastries are very good too. I used to go in only during the weekends because of their hours I was unable to go in during the weekday. It is frustrating now they are not open during the weekends. I don't see how they manage to stay in business with the hours they keep.…

Amazing food!. I've been going to Nicavids for 4 years now...and I've only lived in San Antonio for 2! When I would visit my parents in San Antonio I would always look forward to visiting Nicavids for some delicious, healthy food. It was one of the only places I could find a really wholesome meal on the go, and it still is! Now that I live here, you can bet I visit Nicavids as often as I can!…

Everything's AWESOME here!. I don't write reviews unless I feel very passionate about the product, place, etc... But Nicavids is one in a million. Everything here is so fresh and delicious. It doesn't matter what you order, you won't be disappointed. It's a family owned business and the enviornment is very casual and relaxed. I discovered them a few months back and they have quickly turned into my favorite restaurant.…
