Honest, High Integrity, Best Place for Oil and Other

The absolute most honest and highest integrity place that I've experienced. While getting an oil change, I observed a Helotes Lube employee inform another customer that he really didn't need an oil change and that his oil is good for at least another 1,000 miles. Other places would not have done this and would have probably tried to sell something the customer didn't need. This was very impressive and sold me as a customer for life. Great stuff and I highly recommend these guys.

Small town feel - big town service!

These guys were great. They didn't pressure me into things I didn't need, but were informative...

This is the opposite of what you expect at most places when it comes to oil changes in that way... they're not coming in every six seconds suggesting for you to buy something else.

I did have a concern about something unrelated to oil (steering column was making a horrible noise) and they checked it, advised me, and sure enough... they were correct, and the problem was fixed. Another place probably would have tried to sell me something extra to fix the problem. They simply added some fluid, and all is well.

I will continue to go back there - especially since I've recently moved to Helotes from the Shavano area. When you find people like this you KNOW are trying to do their best for you... you simply don't go anywhere else!

Their waiting area is very small, but it took all of ten minutes and the service was simply fantastic!

It's Your Old Fashioned Family Business

After moving a few months ago from PA to TX, I felt overwhelmed with the size of San Antonio. I was afraid I would only find chains that could service my needs. Helotes Lube N Tune happens to be run by a very nice gentleman who has his son working with him, along with other gentlemen who seem like his family. Their service is very personal and they do a very good job in taking care of your vehicle. As a woman, they treat me well and help me understand the nature of the service I am getting without making me feel stupid. Prices are the same as other service stations but you get a nice home-town feeling at this place. I lucked out and won't go anywhere else to service mine and my husband's vehicle.
