An industrial atmosphere features exposed ceiling pipes, stained concrete flooring and cafeteria-like furnishings, like colorful melamine chairs. Frosted-glass doors, a sunny wall of windows and modern, hanging yellow lights complete the comfortable environment. The small venue holds many customers, mostly employees and students from adjacent IBM, plus many Culinary Academy students. Amiable instructors oversee the all-student staff as they prepare blue-plate specials like honey bourbon pork, burgers, foccacia sandwiches, wraps and salads.
