A Relief!. If you haven't heard about Chong already then you are hearing it now. Chong is the best!! You can't beat the prices over there. She is awesome at color, highlights, cuts....I am very picky about my hair and used to spend a lot of money at an upscale salon with stylists that couldn't care less about their clientele. For the works, cut, color, highlights, wash and style for medium length hair....$120. For root touch up, color, cut style...about $90....Chong is THE BEST!!!!

Awesome job! I would definitely recommend Guys & Dolls Hair Salon to my friends, family and to anyone in search for a new place to try out. Melisa did an awesome job on my hair! She also provided great customer service and I will be going back for my next hair cut and style.

Still One of the best in San Antonio. I have been going here since they opened and I have to say that this is a consistent salon that has had its fair share of mediocre employees. We have all worked with these people and they haven't lasted in any occupation they try. During my most recent visit, Chong cut my hair and was telling me of her improvement plans. She has a couple fresh new faces there that greet you with a smile and offer an awesome service. I encourage those who may have drifted away in the past to come back and enjoy the fresh faces.

Been a Longtime Customer. However I'm seriously thinking about finding a new salon. I've been going to Chong's salon for at least 6 years now, and her salon on Grissom Rd is starting to decline in appearance, and with the service her stylist are giving. Her prices are going up yet the quality is going down. One of her stylist is even starting to bring her children into the shop now. She use to have a very clean salon, but now it looks dingy, and dirty. I even see some of her customers coming back telling her that the work she's missed spots. Chong, I don't want to leave you, but if things don't change I'm going to have to, don't know what's going on, but I sure hope you get it fixed ASAP b/c I know the quality of work you are capable of giving and I know the cleanliness your shop has been in past.

Saw the ratings and gave it a shot!. I wanted to take my wife out for her valentines gift to get a cut and color done. so I shopped around and checked out some local ratings. we went in to this salon at 5:00 and came out at 8:00 thinking it may take longer. that is 1 hr past the closing time so if thats not customer service then i dont know what is. the staff was very friendly and Chong who did my wifes hair did an awsome job. I will definately be going back and would highly recommend to anyone. I will be bringing my little girls there also. thankyou guys and dolls for living up to your reviews.

Best haircut experiance ever. I have lived in San Antonio for 3 years and got my haircut once since ive been here. It was the worst experience ever. So when i decided to cut my hair again i was very hesitant. I looked at all the reviews for different salons and found that Guys and Dolls had the best and most reviews. I was still scared as i was sitting in the chair, but Roxanne made me feel completely comfortable. I showed her the hair cut i wanted and she said it was doable with my hair type. As she was cutting she was explaining to me how she was cutting my hair and why . After she was done she styled it and told me different ways to style it myself. I love my hair cut and i have truly never felt happy after leaving a hair salon. This has truly become my go to salon for myself and family.

great cut/color/price. I've always colored my own hair and just had it cut by someone else.

The first salon I went to in San Antonio I researched and decided it was the place to make a big color change. Horrid mistake. It took 2 visits and $200 to get anything close. (I was going from dark to light but my hair is also super short)

I was so disappointed that by the time I was willing to brave a salon again I had terrible roots.

I made an appointment with Melisa and hoped for the best. I got the best for sure. She was friendly and did an amazing job on my hair. I will definitely be returning.

Great Haircut Finally!!!. I have been looking for a decent haircut for a long time. I have always had trouble finding a stylist who actually got my hair and did a good job. I finally found a stylist who not only gave me a good haircut but also some great advice on how to style it differents ways. I was a bit hesitant when I first showed up at Guys and Dolls, but Mitzi assured me she knew what she was doing and had the experience to do it. Still a bit hesitant, I left it all in her hands and told her to do her thing. She gave one of the best cuts I have ever had and great styling advice to go with it. I needed to be able to have a good hairstyle that was simple and quick. She showed me how easy it can be to have a great style, quick. Thank you Mitzi! I love my new hairdo.

I am back in town and glad Chong is still here. I am in the military and just moved back to San Antonio from 3 years in Europe. I was so happy to be back at Guys & Dolls and to find out that Chong is still able to get my hi-lights perfect. She is a blessing and I can't wait to see her new services starting in February 10. Thanks Chong, you are stuck with me for atleast 3 more years!!!!

HORRIBLE for Eyebrow Waxing!. I speak spanish and I told the lady what I wanted, just had moved here.. she didnt listen did my eyebrows how she wanted cause she felt Hispanic women need thick eyebrows.. its not her choice its mine. That was not cool, and i wont go back.. you are right who cares about the language.. no you are in America.. you go to my country and speak english they are going to expect you to learn spanish..
