Sorry but I was less then impressed. Im a man and maybe that was the problem. I was given a gift certificate last year as kind of a joke from my employees. I told them I'd rather had gotten a "guy" gift but they all said "GO"! On the day of arrival I sensed by the staff that I was out of place. When I came in I actually had to introduce myself and explain why I was there. They just stood around staring at me. I should have left then I suppose. Well anyway, I muddled my way through a few services, always being "integrrogated", who are you, where do you work, etc etc, etc. Finally, when one of the therapist that worked there gave me a card with her name on the back, and phone number, I thought to myself, how is this even possible. the services themselves were at best "OK", but to deal with the total uncomfortable feelings that I was experiencing was not acceptable. When Nelda gave me a card with another day spa phone and address on it, and her personal phone on the back I thought to myself how unprofessional can you get? I don't really know who actually runs the place. I do know everybody is "interested" in who you are "personaly", so Im gonna just have to say I will not be going back. The employees who gave me the certificate have since given me a another certificate to one of the more established spas here in San Antonio. Im going to go there today, just to see if I can get a refund, maybe I can go over to Sears and get some tools.

I do recommend that if your a guy, "Do not go here". A total waste of dough.

Great day at the "Day Spa". I had a wonderful time at the Day Spa! I never have the time to treat myself that often. They made it very easy to schedule with no hassel. I do appreciate all that the Mediterranean Day Spa and Fisher House is doing for all the military and there dependents, thank you so much!!

EXCELLENCE!. i was very impressed with the atmosphere being very calm, very relaxing, very inviting and the music played during the services was just heavenly. i spent a day of beauty which consists of 5 and a half hours. with every service that i received i truly felt cared for and pampered and received the utmost therapeutic services. krystle is just definately one of a kind. i recommend it to everyone and also for the elderly. my parents are very happy with the warmth and care krytle has given them during their visits.
