Exxon on the Run. On Thursday July 17th at 4:30 p.m. my family and I dropped ny our neighborhood Exxon Tiger Mart to pick a few items up for a trip to the lake. In the midst of checking out we experienced an extremely rude and beligerent clerk named Cary. He demanded to see ID of my daughter's 17 year old boyfriend before he would sell my wife a single bottle of Smirnoff Ice. Said it was the LAW!!! End result after 5 years of patronage is that we left without purchasing anything and we will not visit that store again until this kid is gone! Complaints filed with TABC, Exxon and the store interim manager.
Tiger Mart Employee Rude!!. Tonight while shopping at our local Tiger Mart, we encountered a very rude employee, who was clearly on a "power trip". We were purchasing some items from the store and were going to purchase some lottery tickets; but were caught off guard by the actions of an employee by the name of Cary. Therefore, we chose not to further our transaction and cut it short, due to his very rude and unprovoked actions. I have no doubt that his interpretation of the events will be different, but what we experienced will cause us to never again shop or purchase gasoline from your store. We are both two obviously mature adults who were treated as adolescents, and did not appreciate the blatant disrespect. We have both patroned this location for many years; but unfortunately that will no longer be the case. We hope that this email will initiate some sort of closer observation and subsequent action regarding this employee and this matter. This event occurred tonight, 05/27/2008 at approximately 9:50 pm.
