CLOSED. This restaurant is now closed, and the sign is covered over. This restaurant never lived up to its namesake on Zarzamora, even though it (presumably) had the same owners. The food was not all that, and the service was not all that, either. I guess it is a good thing, someone decided to put it out of its misery
This little diner attracts customers with its malts, video arcade and Fat Boy combo--the best-priced meal in town..
In Short
The Malt House Cafe, owned by the same people as the Malt House, isn't as genuine as the original--but it does exude a certain charm. One advantage of this location is the full bar. But with all the trappings of an old-fashioned diner, the biggest attraction is the Fat Boy combo: a quarter-pounder, fries and a drink for $2.25. Of course, as the name of this restaurant implies, the malts and ice cream rank pretty high too.
