Honest Opinion of SA KIDS karate. My son has attended SA Kids karate for over 5 years and has EARNED the belt of the color BLACK. Noticed I capitalized EARNED and BLACK. That is the difference from this Do-Jo and the previous Do-Jo my son attended and was given a Black Belt after paying my Financial Contract Obligations. I have personal seen the disappointment on kids faces when they were told that they would not be testing because they were not performing at the level of the next color belt. This sets this Do-Jo appart from the others.Belts are not given out they are EARNED. If your child likes to play around and not focus I suggest you find a different Do-Jo. But if your child would like to play around when appropriate and learn to focus and learn True Okinawan Karate give it a try, it"s not like you have to sign a contract .

Great Instructors!. I searched for months to find a karate school for my son, this was the only one that did not require a contract. I am sorry, but there is no way I can commit to a 1-3 year long contract when I have no Idea if my 5 year old will still be interested in a month! He has been training at SA Kids for 6 months now, and he loves it. He is doing better with his behavior at school, too, which I love! I am very grateful to this dojo for the discipline, respect, and focus they have taught my son, I thin we will be here for a long time to come...
