A well-kept Secret. When we moved into the neighborhood, we decided to give Wetmore Deli a shot. My husband and I both ordered the chicken sub w/ bacon and provolone cheese. I would love to be able to review the rest of the menu for you, but that is simply not the case. We both fell madly in love with the chicken sub and it's what we order every time we go. I really believe it's the best sandwich in San Antonio. The Wetmore Deli is a terrific find- we often bring out-of-towners there for lunch and they are always amazed. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting and the food is heart warming.

A terrific find and a homey atmosphere.... Wetmore Deli has terrific food at a reasonable price. You can tell the food is made fresh with a lot of love, plus it's delicious. The feel is that of a neighborhood hangout--local artwork on the walls, patrons sticking around to chat with the staff, and a great comfortable vibe. If you're in the neighborhood and you want a great lunch in a place that isn't trying to churn out as many customers as possible, then Wetmore Deli is the place.

Great home cook taste. I have been to wetmore deli several times and just ate the cookies because they are delicious. The cookies are soft and include chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, sugar, brownie, and much more. This time I had the smoke turkey sandwich with avocado and swiss and it was fabulous. My bread was soft, the tomatoes were fresh, and it even comes with a chip trio and a small cookie. I can't wait to go again to try the many other menu options they have.

By far the best deli in town. Great food, very fresh! Friendly staff, willing to go the extra mile for customers, excellent for catering as well!!!
