Starbucks

Not the Same. Starbucks in general has been a huge disappointment for years now. Their coffee is no where as hot or flavorful nor consistently so as it was the first two years. The like to play both worlds. We're the big national chain you can depend on but hey, we're also the little neghborhood coffee shop,which is why they (unlike most national chains) have no set hours? I never can remember how late or early an individual shop is open? Of course they change because it's about profit not your convenience. Rather than taking some losses as the other companies who stay open to serve at the leisure of their customers. It's all about them, not you.

Speaking of both worlds and lack of consistency:

Every shop changes the seating and tables regularly. Can't they figure it out at any of these stores. Maybe they should hire a Feng Shui expert or something. Just when I tell a group we'll go to this Starbuskcs as they do have a big table or configuration to serve our purposes, it changes again?

Ninety percent of the Starbucks are always way too cold or hot. Haven't they figured out yet that people don't mind being a little colder or hotter than their preference but not extreme differences. Not to mention, we are at a different place and comfort level than the staff.

Speaking of staff, they have some of the least professional. Loud whistling, carrying-on, yelling. Look, you may be from Seattle but this is not Pike's Peak?

I really wish someone like Dunkin Donuts would get smart and open a more trendy coffee shop. Their coffee is better, they just lack the cache. But, cache or not, I know there are plenty of people who like me are going less to Starbucks but still do as there are few alternatives. Yet, if one presented itself, I'd be there ina heartbeat. Bye , Bye Starbucks! Get Real!
